Had a wonderful stay at Tortworth Court. Room was upgraded to a junior suite due to 2 big events happening while we were there & new room was quieter. We enjoyed the events that were on while we were there. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant Sunday evening.

Perfect as a couple of nights for a birthday treat. Feels like a mixture of Hogwarts and Downton and has a colourful history a secret army use and even a prison. Comfortable rooms, old-ish but nice pool and spa, but the highlight is the excellent food and service. Before cocktails in the library, and to work up an appetite, we used the free naps for the arboretum to find the American oaks from the civil war. There was a commercial conference in other rooms, and apparently it's popular with weddings - but the building and gardens are big enough.

Lovely location. Two restaurants, spa area (pool/hot tub/sauna/steam+spa services), indoor and outdoor bars, outdoor seating areas with good views and walks. I recommend this location. Close to the M5 but you wouldn’t know it. Clean room and comfortable bed. For me, I felt the evening food was expensive. Breakfast was included and good quality, plenty of options.

Gorgeous grounds. It was a taxi ride away from our Cotswold way walk but absolutely worth it. Such treat midway on our trek. Beautiful historic building on park like setting. The spa was a treat and the atrium bar a great hangout.

A fabulous hotel and well worth a stay! We made a last minute booking as a stop off on the motorway - it's about a mile from the M5 but you'd never know it. A beautiful old building and great amenities mean you don't either need or want to go elsewhere. A choice of a fine dining restaurant or the bistro-style Atrium meets all needs. Had it been better weather when we were there we would have loved sitting out on the beautiful terrace and enjoying the garden. I'm very very fussy about hotels and my only complaints were that our room was so far from reception and that the shower tray had a trace of limescale in it but I really am picking at small things as overall this hotel is excellent and great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any request. . The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. Overall, the service exceeded all expectations, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

Booked a long weekend for my wife and I. Very easy to get to from junction 14 on the m5 (only 5 minutes). Tortworth Court is well worthy to be a part of the De Vere chain of hotels, it's so exquisite and unique and has been brought upto a standard for everyone to admire. All the staff were very freindly and professional from check in to check out. features like the Library Bar and the Atrium Bar blew us away with decor and lighting and a vast selection of beverages and food. We stayed in the Gilbert Room 22 which is in the main building at the top of a long sweeping staircase. Outside the building the gardens are to be admired and the upkeep is spotless. To all the staff, you made it such a memorable weekend and we shall be returning.

A cracking stay from start to finish. Fabulous country location. Beautiful gardens, spacious room (deluxe courtyard), well equipped bathroom. Dinner at the Atrium was friendly, prompt and nice food. Didn't use the on site spa but talking to others, definitely worth a visit. Breakfast plentiful and surprisingly fresh for a buffet. Overall a top stay and will definitely be returning.
