I could not fault the location. Would love to return for a longer stay. I had a pleasant one-night stay here so my review is based on that. The hotel appears to be beautiful and has a very lonely vibe from the outside. You can tell when you enter that the hotel has been tastefully decorated. Loved the coat of armour that was on the side of a beautiful staircase. We were in the Newmarket room, which was designated after a racecourse. The room itself is beautifully furnished, with a very big comfortable bed, and a kettle with plenty of tea, coffee, and other amenities. The bathroom was again quite well appointed, our bathroom only had a shower, but it had excellent water pressure and plenty of room. Breakfast the following morning was a mix of buffetstyle cereal, bread, and other items, and then a hot menu to choose from. Eggs Benedict is a decent option if you prefer full English or a vegetarian counterpart. My wife and I both spoke english to the whole time. Excellent ingredients, I'm not sure if they source locally, but the bacon and sausage were both excellent. Breakfast included two good-sized washers of bacon, a slice of sausage, a hash brown, mushrooms, black pudding, and an egg that could be served as desired. You won't be hungry! For a night, my wife and I required somewhere to stay near Brighton and the shore in a reasonably priced location. The strand hotel was perfect. The hotel is approximately an 8-minute stroll from boscombe beach, which is lovely, incidentally, and far less crowded than bournemouth beach, which is 1. 5 miles up the coast. There are marked parking lots for 5 cars, but free parking is relatively easy on the road itself. Rowan graciously guided us to our room, gave us two bottles of chilled water for free, and was friendly and helpful. Our room was modest, with a tiny, effective shower, toilet, and washbasin, but it had plenty of hot water and was immaculately clean. The apartment included a double bed, two simple chairs, tea and coffee amenities, a flat-screen television, a hair dryer, good free WiFi, bedside tables, and lamps, but no work desk. Very quiet at night. It was small but not cocky! Breakfast contained a stunning assortment of cereals, drinks, yoghurts, and toast spreads, but no hot breakfast. That was suitable for us. Tea and coffee are also available. All are self-service. The guest house also has a lovely lounge and a little but peaceful garden. Overall, a lovely spot to spend a night or two.

The room size was nice and spacious, the staff was friendly and courteous, there was also a good continental breakfast and a good shower. Besides that, the shower was very hot. This is an added bonus! I would recommend this place if you're staying in Bourmouth.

The breakfast was very good, with a good selection of hot and cold options. We talked with the reception about the bathroom when we checked out, and they very kindly offered to reimburse our breakfasts, which was greatly appreciated. The bathroom was very good, with good quality and plenty of hot and cold breakfast. I would have given a five-star rating, but my bathroom had a badly cracked bath top and panel, a sink tap that splashed all over me, a toilet seat that didn't really fit, and some bathroom detail and finish in general left a little bit to be desired. Shame.

It was a wonderful hotel and the receptionist was fantastic, she assisted us in bringing drinks to the bar. very friendly and the room was lovely, very clean. Breakfast was so delicious, it was way better than we had anticipated.

The condition of the hotel is good. The staff is also helpful and friendly. Even the breakfast is not surprisingly plentiful. Breakfast is limited to bread, jam, butter, cereal, orange juice, tea, and coffee. The hotel has beautiful history with its decor and paintings.

Great location, our room was lovely. Actually, the whole place is lovely. very central, great walk to the pier. The breakfast is great and the service is excellent. This place is very stylish. Beautiful decor. Spotless. and very welcoming. What more can you want than that?

The location is ideal for visiting Bourmouth. We only stayed one night, and rowan treated us like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. Very nice room with a safe and powerful shower. Numerous breakfast options.

The service here was amazing. The room was King size and had such a wide choice. I got one kettle, coffee, biscuits, slippers, towels, and was also greeted by Rowan. They also provide a continental breakfast with so much variety and many variants.

It was a beautiful hotel with clean and friendly staff. The bathroom was big. The breakfast was limited, including bread, jam, butter, cereal, orange juice, tea and coffee. The hotel kept it's beautiful history with its furnishings and paintings.
