Even though it is located at a pub, my room was quiet on my Monday night stay. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well. Shower was nice and big and provided me with a powerful hot shower. Bathroom was probably the highlight of the room. Communication from hotel prior to stay was excellent likewise. I was even given bed set up options. Happy to stay again.

This hotel was definitely not the nicest I’ve stayed in but it had character that made up for it. It was a phenomenal location and everything we wanted to get to was very close by. They also had a great restaurant attached to the hotel that made it easy in a pinch. Highly recommend this place due to the uniqueness of the hotel and the location being so central.

The beds were a bit narrow but everything else was way above expectations! The staff were so helpful, and the location is nice. It’s close enough to the Main Street without being too close.

First hotel that ever provided a hair straightener. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem we had was elevator did not run our last 2 days but staff had people working on it. Just glad we were on the first floor.

Mir hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen und ich würde hier immer wieder buchen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, ausgestattet mit einem Kühlschrank, Couch und Klimaanlage, die gleichzeitig als Heizung dient. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof, so dass man von Straßengeräuschen nichts gehört hat. Da die Fenster nicht schallisoliert sind, empfiehlt sich für Nachts dringend Oropax. Es ist ansonsten konstant ein sonores Brummen zu hören, ich denke draußen von der Klimaanlage. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, ca. 200-300 Meter von der Royal Mile entfernt, die nach einem kleinen steilen Anstieg erreicht wird. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Bahnhof Waverley ist in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar. Direkt neben dem Hotel gibt es eine kleinen Laden für Getränke und Lebensmittel. Der nächste größere Supermarkt (Tesco) ist ca. 5 Minuten entfernt. In 100m Entfernung liegt das Stramash, eine umgebaute alte Kirche als Partylocation. Hier treten jeden Abend 2-3 Bands kostenlos auf. Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

The Hotel is amazing! STAY is really well located, the staff is helpfull and the room is great. Also, the bar is really cool to spend some time when you come back from visiting the city. If I'm ever blessed with coming back to Edinburgh again, I will totally stay there again!
