Always keep your phone with you when leaving your room!! Our 1st morning we got locked out of our room because our door code went off line but luckily I was able to use a ladies phone that was in the parking lot and call the office.. office is only available to call or email, if you call 8am-5pm. At check in door code is available to unlock at EXACTLY 4:00pm unless you paid for early check in and at check out code locks you out at EXACTLY 11:00am. The staff will switch out any dirty linens, towels if you put in basket provided and set outside your door in the morning. They provide pots, pans, cookie sheets, cutting board, 1 mixing bowl, cooking utensils, knives, forks, spoons, plates, bowls, coffee cups and glasses. Kerg coffee, sugar & creamer cups, salt & pepper. Dish soap, shower wash, shampoo & conditioner. Broom & dust pan wich is a must at the beach!! The beds were comfortable, pool was clean but not well lite at night. The beach was literally 2 minute walk. Carolina beach about 5 minute drive, Fort Fisher Beach about a 12 minute walk.

Parking was a little confusing. We couldn’t find the designated parking spaces. But the staff was very helpful and kind. There is no working AC in the living room so it got pretty hot in the day and took a while to cool down in the evenings. But overall it was a great stay. Great location. Our family enjoyed themselves.

We booked the Cottage, the stand alone small 3bd/1ba bungalow next to the motel. It is the perfect location with only steps to the beach and restaurants. There is a separate sunroom that has fans/ac, small kitchen with appliances for cooking, each room has a tv/ac, and full 3 bedrooms. The back of the cottage has a small rinse off shower and the motel has a good size pool. A great perk is 2 dedicated parking spots right next to the cottage.

Upon arrival, management was responsive when we had an issue and questions--we called the phone number that had texted check-in details. They resolved everything quickly and satisfactorily. Housekeeping was great with keeping items we needed restocked. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Text communication was clear and informative. We stayed in a suite and appreciated the ammenities, including The Bedroom: a small table, lamp, and outlets on each bedside, large TV, luggage rack; The Bathroom: towels, blowdryer, and clothing steamer, shampoo, conditioner & body wash; The Kitchen: pots, pans, dishes and utensils, dish towel, microwave, fridge, freezer with ice trays, coffee maker, coffee pods and creamers; The Livingroom: round table and chairs, coffee tables, large tv, fold out couch, additional chairs, cupboard with blanket and pillow for fold out bed. The Seabird Motel is next door to a Kwik Mart (with ice cream stand) so its super convenient to grab snacks, drinks, and meal items. Across the street, we enjoyed The Happy Hippies Java Hut for coffee and The Ocean View Restaurant for lunch! Behind those is the Kure Beach Pier gift shop (aqua colored building) with public access to walk the pier (doors through the back of the shop). The gift shop also has ice cream, a small arcade, and pool tables. The motel is 3 miles to Carolina Beach area brimming with shops, restauarants, and entertainment. We recommend stopping at The Veggie Wagon along the way.

Super super clean. Staff were very friendly and can hold a conversation. My dog loved it and they have a good space for them to play and use the bathroom. Very close to the pier/beach/food.

I recommend this for a short or long stay. Very close to a convenient store, restaurants, the pier and the beach! Loved the aesthetic of the place, and the size of the place was very comfortable.

Clean room and easy check in. There’s staff at the property, however I was able to contact a live person for questions. Perfect location to walk to the beach, pier, and local restaurants. Family and pet friendly.

Love this place, we even went down to Kure Beach to find a different place to stay because my husband got a 22 foot boat so we needed a place to park it, well to find out the seabird has a place so he can park his boat so we are not going anywhere, it's a great place to stay
