Perfect location for walking to the Central Park as well as countless restaurants and bars. Parking is a bit of an issue (the nearby garage recommendation has a 30min - 1h notification period to get the car ready) but overall the hotel is in pristine condition. The high level of interior finishing is a welcome change from the countless dated luxury hotels that gloss over details and attempt to compensate with often unneeded services. The Wallace is definitely a recommendation for a stay in the Upper West Side area.

The staff was amazing. The front desk dealt with an expedia bug that double booked customers very graciously and were very welcoming every day of my stay. The hotel is in a perfect location, quiet neighborhood close to most places you want to visit in nyc. They have a great lounge where you can enjoy drinks, food and watch a world cup game. The staff is what absolutely makes this place amazing . From the front desk to the staff at the lounge they are all superstars !! See you soon Eddie

My husband and I stayed here in mid-June and really enjoyed the experienced. It’s a great location. The staff were super welcoming and helpful. Gave us free water the entire stay, which was a blessing given how hot it was! The snacks and coffee in the room were also so nice, since we were both starving after a long travel day. The room was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfy. My only wish was that there were more shower towels provided in the room, but it’s possible we just couldn’t find them! It also felt super safe, where a key had to be used to get up the elevator, which was appreciated. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and hope to make this our regular spot when we come to NY.

The Wallace never disappoints! The staff are friendly and helpful. The property is a hidden gem. We love the Upper West Side location because its very walkable and the subway is nearby so you can get to anywhere in the city.

Clean room - I even wiped it myself and it was the cleanest I’ve been to. Showers hot and great pressure. Nice lounge downstairs. Staff was all helpful and remember you. Small boutique hotel on an upscale and quiet street. Train station 3 blocks down or 3 blocks up. Laundry facility 3 blocks up. An abundance of food around. Nice touches like automated curtains, nightlight in the bathroom, a doorbell on the room, complimentary items. The only negative is the beds were too comfortable. I didn’t want to get up. There is a fridge in the room that could be colder.
