Starting from December 1, the Malaysian Immigration Department has introduced the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) for all foreign visitors. This digital form must be completed 3 (three) days before arriving in Malaysia.

  • Passengers who are transiting or transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance.
  • Malaysian permanent residents.
  • Malaysian Automated Clearance System (MACS) holders.

MDAC Registration:

Passengers can register and submit the MDAC on the Immigration Department's official website. Information required includes date of arrival, date of departure, mode of transport (air, land, or sea), and last port of embarkation.

Entry Process:

Upon arrival, visitors must present both their passports and the completed MDAC to the Immigration officer. Autogates at KLIA's Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 are available for eligible passengers from 10 countries, including Australia, Brunei, Germany, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
