Entry Restrictions

 

  • Qatar is open for travel from most countries, with different entry requirements based on country of origin.
  • COVID-19 Country Red Risk Classification is no longer applicable.

Additional Entry Requirements

 

  • From 1 November 2022, visitors entering Qatar are not required to pre-register on the Ehteraz health application prior to arrival. 
  • Download the Ehteraz app through www.ehteraz.gov.qa and activate it on mobile phones.
  • Visitors are no longer required to bring a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) or Rapid Antigen test certificate before traveling to the State of Qatar.​
  • Accepted vaccines: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V, at least 14 days prior to arrival.
  • Effective 3 January 2023, passengers who have been in China (People's Rep.) or Hong Kong (SAR China) in the past 5 days must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued at most 2x24 hours before departure.

Quarantine Policy

 

  • Quarantine is no longer mandatory for all travelers arriving from abroad, however, travelers who test positive for COVID-19 after arriving in Qatar must undergo self-isolation measures in accordance with the procedures followed in the State of Qatar.
