Entry Restrictions Exemptions

• Passengers can only land in Cape Town (CPT), Durban (DUR), Nelspruit (MQP) or Johannesburg: Lanseria International (HLA) and Tambo International (JNB).

Additional Entry Requirements

• Everyone must bring a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued no more than 3x24 hours before departure. Not valid for passengers under 5 years old.

• A completed “Traveller Health Questionnaire” upon arrival.

• Passengers are subject to medical screening.

• A COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to departure.

Quarantine Policy

• All arrivals to South Africa will be screened upon arrival, and based on the results might be tested and quarantined for 10 days in a government facility.

Visa Policy

Visa exemptions for nationals of France, Germany, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Portugal, Singapore, Spain, USA, for passengers with a Hong Kong (SAR China) passport and for passengers with a British normal passport with nationality 'British Citizen', has been reinstated.
