Lowest Price Guarantee Terms & Conditions
Found a cheaper price elsewhere? You can claim a refund for 2x the price difference if you find a cheaper price for your reservation on another Online Travel Agency (“OTA”) website based in Indonesia
OTA is defined as a travel agent company that sells travel-related products, such as flight tickets, hotel rooms, activities, car rentals, etc. through digital application.
By joining Lowest Price Guarantee, the customer is deemed to have read, acknowledged, and agreed with these Terms & Conditions entirely.
How to claim the Lowest Price Guarantee?
- Provide a screenshot as evidence of the lower price in the final booking/payment page from other OTA.
- Provide the URL Link of the lower price from the other OTA.
- Fill out the form through the order details page in the My Order menu.
General
- These Terms and Conditions will bind the customer and PT Global Tiket Network (“tiket.com”) in its entirety.
- “Lowest Price Guarantee” (will later be called “LPG”) is only applicable for the final price as shown on the final booking/payment page. The price shown must already include all taxes and fees. Promo codes, gift vouchers, private rates, loyalty points, membership discounts, and/or other discounts that are separate from the base price of the product will not be included in the LPG.
- LPG is only applicable to prices displayed by other OTAs. OTA is defined as a travel agent company that sells travel-related products, such as flight tickets, hotel rooms, activities, car rentals, etc. through digital applications.
- LPG claim can only be submitted for products from other OTAs and does not apply to products from tiket.com.
- LPG claim can only be submitted upon tiket.com’s user buying an eligible product in tiket.com through tiket.com’s app, website, or m-web.
- LPG is only applicable for the same product level and details (see product definition for each vertical below.)
- LPG claim must be submitted within 12 hours after the e-voucher has been issued by tiket.com.The LPG claim submitted after 12 hours period will be automatically denied.
- LPG applies to domestic products only (routes, accommodations, activities, inventories, etc.)
- LPG applies only for Flights, Hotels, To Dos Activities (To Dos, Attractions, Events, Spa & Beauty, Playgrounds, Sports & Outdoors, COVID-19 Test, Travel Essentials), Airport Transfers, and Car Rentals at tiket.com.
- All prices must be shown only in Indonesian Rupiah and will not be available for pricing in other country currencies.
- Users have to be logged in first before purchasing their order to be eligible for LPG.
- LPG is not applicable for the Pay at Hotel payment method.
- The decision of every LPG claim will be final and cannot be proceeded.
- Only one claim may be submitted per order and the booking/order should not currently be in the other LPG claim process.
- LPG is not applicable for tiket.com’s employees and immediate family members.
- LPG comparison is only applicable to the same payment scheme and cancellation policy, including the same payment methods (bank transfer, credit card, ATM, etc.)
Claim Coverage
LPG Claim does not cover/LPG claim will be denied or canceled if:
- Your tiket.com booking has been rescheduled, changed, rebooked, canceled, or refunded.
- A claim is submitted more than 12 hours after the voucher has been issued.
- The screenshot evidence does not reveal the same identical product that the customer booked.
- The lower price from the other OTA is offered through a promo code/gift voucher.
- The lower price is offered as a membership or loyalty rewards program website or any rates requiring membership.
- The lower price is offered as part of a package such as a flight + hotel travel combination.
- The lower price is part of a special rate or bulk rate sold to an organization, groups, or individuals but not to the public.
- The screenshot evidence has been tampered with/edited.
- Any other reasons that may be considered appropriate by tiket.com.
Compensation Scheme
- The total amount of compensation for each user shall not exceed 2 million Indonesian Rupiah for any claim submitted within a period of 30 calender days.
- Compensation will be given in the form of Blibli Tiket Points once approved with the status of inactive Blibli Tiket Points. The Blibli Tiket Points will be activated following the order claim date is completed/voucher is redeemed and will be valid for 1 year from the date of issuance. For tiket Flexi specifically, the Blibli Tiket Points will be activated only after the validity period is up.
- The compensation amount will vary depending on the price difference between your tiket booking and the price displayed by the other OTA.
- The duration to award the Blibli Tiket Points for each claim will be subject to tiket.com’s discretion. However, approximately the decision will usually take around 2 business days from the claim submission date.
Others
- All claims are subject to tiket.com’s right and discretion to determine the validity of any claims, including but not limited to, determining that it meets all terms, conditions, and claims processing requirements.
- tiket.com reserves the right, without prior notice, to take necessary actions should fraudulent/suspicious activities are found from you as a tiket.com user regarding this LPG claim.
- tiket.com at all times may modify, impose additional restrictions, or discontinue Lowest Price Guarantee (including to amend these Terms and Conditions) and/or restrict its availability to any person in accordance with the development of tiket.com’s website and prevailing laws and regulations. Customer is advised to periodically visit tiket.com website to be aware of any such changes.
- The Terms and Conditions are made in Indonesian and English versions. In the event that there is a discrepancy regarding the content and understanding of each version, the Indonesian version shall be used.
- These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Any disputes relating to the Terms & Conditions will be settled amicably and if it cannot be settled in a friendly manner, dispute resolution will be through Customer Dispute Settlement Agency in Jakarta, without prejudice to tiket.com’s right to file a lawsuit in any court throughout Indonesia.
