Effective from February 14, 2024, in accordance with Law Number 15 of 2023, all foreign tourists visiting Bali are required to pay a retribution fee of 10 USD (equivalent to 150,000 IDR). This fee contributes to the preservation of Bali's cultural heritage, the enhancement of its natural environment, and the improvement of the overall travel experience.
Certain groups of foreign tourists may qualify for an exemption from the retribution fee, subject to the following conditions:
Please note: To be eligible for the exemption from the retribution fee, foreign tourists falling under categories 6 and 7 need to submit an application through the Love Bali System at least 5 (five) days before their arrival in Bali. If the application is submitted less than 5 (five) days prior to arrival, foreign tourists will still be subject to the retribution fee.
