Lodaya Malam Train at a Glance

Lodaya Malam is the night route of the Lodaya train service that started operating in 1992. Spanning over 447, the train takes passengers from Solo to Bandung and vice versa. Throughout the journey, passengers will pass through lush farmland, picturesque landscapes, and cities such as Yogyakarta, Tasikmalaya, and Kutoarjo. Economy and executive class trains are available for this route, with added facilities for the latter such as more comfortable and reclining seats, pillows, blankets and less crowded seating arrangements. The train ride will take around 7.5 to 8 hours, ensuring that passengers can indulge in beautiful views and relax, arriving at their destination refreshed.
