Ngrombo Station

Ngrombo Station is the busiest station in Grobogan Regency and is located close to Purwodadi. It was renovated in 2013 to add new parts of the building, such as a new building, more canopies, and new toilets and prayer rooms on the west side of the station. This renovation was considered one of the biggest changes seen in stations along the Jakarta to Surabaya rail route. It was also renovated again in 2020 to support passenger trains with more carriages. Current facilities include a health clinic for  passengers, a designated smoking area, a kids’ playground, and charging stations. Aside from that, basic facilities such as waiting areas, information points, toilets, and self-service ticket machines can also be found inside. Ngrombo Station currently serves both long-distance and commuter trains, with the latter serving the Blora Jaya and Kedung Sepur lines.
