Sragen Station

Previously known as Modjo Sragen Station, Sragen Station serves long distance passenger trains to destinations such as Jakarta, Malang, or Semarang. It was originally built in the 1880s to ease the delivery of sugar, which came from a neighboring factory. The building that was constructed during this time has since been demolished with a bigger new station building taking its place in order to accommodate increased passenger numbers.

 

Passengers can buy or print their tickets at counters and machines available in the departures section. Other facilities include waiting prayer rooms, toilets, charging stations, and an information desk. Parking is available for cars and motorcycles within the premises.
