The Hotel itself is quite nice, and the staff are generally helpful. The restaurant menu is very limited and not spectacular. Veracruz has great food, and the hotel owner should consider promoting local gastronomy and redesigned the menu. The menu is nothing special and needs attention, as well as training in restaurant service. The hotel is directly on the beach, nice beach and small pool. Looks like a hotel for young couples. Rooms are fine, but bathrooms could use some painting and updating because they are a bit dark. Overall, a nice hotel with beach access. Again, the food is average.

Hotel for adults only. 14 or older rooms are scattered throughout the estate. One is on the first floor, the other are on top rooms. Nice terrace with patata, table, and chairs. The interior design of the room is different. All materials are white, the bathroom is a plastic design and has a private shower outside the bathroom to clean the sand and salt Restaurant is delicious try local cuisine like Picaditas. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I had a great time at Hotel Azucar. The staff was excellent, especially Max. The food is delicious and fresh. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a great working air conditioner and your own hammock in the outdoor seating space. The restaurant closes at 80 pm, so be sure to call ahead if you arrive later and want to eat dinner.
