This is my fourth trip to Hallstatt, and I've stayed three times in the same room with a lake view at Gasthof Simon. The setting is stunning. I discovered that there are a few affordable lakeside hotels in Hallstatt. Gasthof Simon is the one I can afford. I received a room without a bathroom, which isn't a problem if it's always clean. Breakfast is a good deal and there are plenty of options available. The only drawback I can think of is the noise from the floor. Walking on the floor makes noise, which can be annoying.

The hotel Gasthof Simon is in the heart of the town in a prime location with a view of the stunning lake from the balcony. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The very nice apartment where we are staying has a balcony, a big bed, and a sofa bed, plus, it has a private bathroom. This apartment is suitable for 3 to 4 people including 1 and 2 children's family.

The location of this hotel is so close to the main marketplace, and the restaurant, Food Service, is so easy to find, as the location is near the pier. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, have everything you could possibly need, including a sofa, complimentary water, a mini fridge, a study table, comfortable beds, bathrobes, a standing fan, and are tastefully done. The breakfast is scrumptious, with bread, cereal, freshly made eggs, coffee, fruit, salad, croissants, and so on.

The owner, Gabby, and her family were quite kind and accommodating. This home has a mountain outlook and is only a 2030-minute walk from Lake Hallstatter. The beautiful renovated three-year-old apartment is situated in a quiet part of Obertraun and is fully populated with farm animals. For our breakfast, Gabby gave us fresh chicken eggs. We found a little fridge, a ready-to-use espresso/coffee maker and a small snack in the fully furnished kitchen to carry us through until we walked to the local grocery store. As we left, the sheep came down the hill, and gabby served us bread to feed these pets. The owner in the photo is included.

The location was superb, right around the lovely lake and center of Hallstatt. The host, Tika, was very accommodating and kind, making sure we were at ease and had everything we required. The apartment was incredible. The property was spotless, and when we arrived, it was brand new. It was extremely well-equipped with very high-quality and modern amenities. The lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking in the view. All over the apartment was clean and fresh.

There is no one to be praised in this place, but once we got there, we also feel like we were well rewarded. The room has a pretty terrace with a mountain view and a complimentary welcome drink, which we also liked due to the great perspective. A nice idea for my wife in reception to do yoga in the morning, and I did short run up a suggestion from them. Breakfast is good and the chalkboard is buffet-style, but actually quite nice. For the price, we thought it was a bargain and will stay there again in the future.

We just stayed in a fantastic hotel that gave us a lot more value for the money for the same price. We stayed at this hotel for one night and couldn't wait to leave. All 3 members of the front desk staff were unpleasant, condescending, one of them even rolled their eyes at having to stop looking at their computer to talk to us. The rooms are recent and clean, but the soundproofing is terrible I could hear the conversation in the room next to us word for word. The food is delicious, and the waiters are nicer than the front desk staff, but they could use some training. Everything appeared quite chaotic and unsettling, even to them. A large sign at the buffet, signed by the management, instructing visitors not to steal or dispose of food and drinks in flasks to take away. It really speaks to the place's ethos.

The place is a bit far from the center of town. It's worth it to see a stunning view. The hotel is very rustic, and the service is adequate. The view that we got here was upsetting because it faced the parking area. The room is nice to look at, and there's a wood-made room. The breakfast was satisfying, and the cleanliness was good.

Excellent hotel, reasonable cost, and tasty food. We stayed here for two nights and got lodging with half board breakfast and supper included. It was a wonderful idea as it might be time-consuming to discover a restaurant nearby. My friends with two children will also be happy to have a quadruple room reserved. The vistas and surrounding area are stunning, and they have a gym and sauna on the ground level. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. We received a birthday favor, which was a welcome present. thank you.

Around a 12-minute walk from the ferry dock near the city center. We booked a double room that was very spacious with the bathroom. Breakfast was included during our stay, and the hotel was a short walk to the city supermarket and salt mine via Funicula.

This hotel is in a great location. Right off the square and quite near to the boat dock. I'll say the building is very historic. The wood floor makes a lot of noise, you can hear people walking around or in the next room, but you can't beat the view. Bathrooms are small, but worked fine for us. The hotel woman got up a bit early to get breakfast ready for us because we needed to catch the first boat back to the train. I really appreciate her helping us with breakfast.

The owner, Gabby, and her family couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. This house is in a mountainous position and is only a short walk from Lake Hallstatter. In a quiet part of Obertraun, the beautifully refurbished apartment, which is three years old, is surrounded by farm animals. For our breakfast, Gabby provided us with fresh eggs from her chickens. We discovered a refrigerator with a minimal inventory, an espresso machine that was already stocked and ready to use, and a small snack in the fully equipped kitchen. When we pulled out, sheep walked down the hill, and gabby gave us bread to feed these pets' pets. The owner is the caption in the photo, provided by the proprietor.

Our host was great. The room was great, plenty of space. Great bathroom. adorable kitchen, eggs from their chickens! Wish there was AC because we came in a hot snap but we managed to open a lot of windows at the right time. Such a cute town and perfect for a few chill summer days. Great restaurant about a half hour walk from there. Wish we spent a week here!.

We have a great stay at this hotel, and we can recommend it to others. Parking is available to everyone, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, such as croissants, jam and butter, cereal, and cheese. With parking at the back, it only cost 13, and at the front, you will find parking on the first and second floors for 13 to 15 euros, and the town center is only a short walk away. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed, with comfy beds, a spacious bathroom equipped with a shower, lounge chairs, and a refrigerator. The owner is a friendliest and accommodating person, and the general vibes of the place are very pleasant.

The Felix Hall is located 15 walking distance from the market center so the location was quite good. The room was roomy and comfy, without AC, but the room was very comfortable with the window open in the summer. The room has breakfast and Jacqueline is a friendly host. Will definitely recommend!

The hostess, Gabriel, is incredibly helpful and responsive. She was kind enough to assist me in calling a taxi, and the taxi driver is also quite kind and accommodating from the train station to the property. The check was simple and swift. Gabriel offered us some useful advice on how to explore Hallstatt, such as fishing the small local boat. We could get a little discount for experiences like the salt mining one using the guest card there. The property was clean, tidy, and well-furnished. The environment was warm and quiet. The large stars we saw on the balcony there were very much missed by my sister and me. My family enjoyed our visit there, and we wish I could stay longer. Thats a property you would not regret choosing!.
