This hotel is situated on the main square and is not noisy. The only sounds were from a small stream running below our window. The room was cute and comfortable, and the bathroom was recently modernized very tastefully. Breakfast was great as I eat gluten free lovely fresh fruit salad, yogurt and the usual cheese meat food. Our host was very helpful. We had a great time staying here.

The location is also very strategic and very close to the boat. The owner was also friendly and friendly, especially to us who stay at this hotel. The room is also furnished with a balcony and the view is lovely.

Fantastic stopover on your way to Hallstatt for a quick snack and refreshment while enjoying the main square of this picturesque town of 800 residents. Go and support this small business owner to help him recover from the financial crisis of couid.

The location of this hotel is in the heart of Hallstatt. Tom owned and run this building, which was his familys home. He has lovingly converted it into a fourbedroom hotel and bar. Staying there is both elegant and excellent. I stayed in the nicest, most roomy, most modern room with a lovely balcony overlooking the market. Excellent bathroom with rain shower and little fridge. In fact, there is no air conditioning or lift. If you are sensitive to noise, ask for one of the back rooms because the market place is busy. The bars are close by at 11 p.m. which makes nighttime quiet. You can take a free shuttle from the parking lot for eu 15 per night to your hotel. Because the streets are very narrow and crowded with tourists, cars are not permitted in the city. Near the parking lot toilet, there is a call phone for the shuttle service. Everything in a terrific buffet is provided for breakfast. The homemade breads are wonderful. Tom is a terrific host!.

Ive spent the last few evenings at the bar in I da mit. It's a lovely spot to start the night or end the day with a beer or glass of wine. Very good host and always a good discussion to be had. Will return tomorrow.
