Cabin Baggage
- Each passenger on Japan Airlines is allowed to bring 1 (one) cabin bag and 1 (one) personal item, with a total maximum weight of 10 (ten) kg.
- The dimensions of the cabin bag must not exceed 55 x 40 x 25 cm.
- We recommend that passengers do not place valuable items in checked baggage. Instead, valuable items should be kept in the cabin bag. The following types and categories of valuable items may be carried in the cabin bag:
- Laptop, tablet, and other portable computer devices
- Camera and photography equipment
- Jewelry and other valuables, such as gold, diamonds, and silver
- Important documents, such as passports, flight tickets, and business documents
- Other electronics, such as smartphones and chargers
- Medications or supplements needed during the journey
- Cash, credit cards, and other financial documents
Check In Baggage
- Checked baggage refers to luggage stored in the aircraft's cargo hold and cannot be accessed by passengers during the flight.
- Checked baggage is typically heavier and larger than cabin baggage.
- Japan Airlines enforces a maximum weight limit of 2 pieces of checked baggage, each weighing up to 23 kg.
- The allowance for checked baggage may vary depending on the class of service chosen by the passenger.
Pre-book Baggage
Currently, Japan Airlines does not offer prepaid baggage services like some other airlines. If you require additional baggage, excess baggage fees will apply according to the policies set by Japan Airlines.

Excess baggage fees are additional charges applied to passengers if their baggage weight or quantity exceeds the allowed limit. Japan Airlines Policy
General Policy
- Each passenger is required to sit in their assigned seat.
- All carry-on items must be placed in the overhead compartments or under the seat.
- Mobile phones and all electronic devices emitting signals must be turned off or switched to flight mode.
- During takeoff and landing, passengers are required to fasten their seatbelts, stow the tray table, straighten the seatback, and open the window shades.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the aircraft.
Pregnancy Policy
- Japan Airlines allows pregnant passengers to travel up to 27 weeks of pregnancy (except on flights to and from the U.S.) without a medical certificate.
- At check-in, pregnant passengers must sign the Japan Airlines Limited Liability Statement.
- Passengers between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy are required to provide a doctor's certificate confirming their fitness to fly. This certificate must be dated no more than 30 days before the flight.
- Passengers over 35 weeks of pregnancy are not allowed to fly with Japan Airlines.

Unaccompanied Minors
- Japan Airlines does not allow minors to travel unaccompanied.
- Passengers under the age of 12 must travel with an adult aged 18 or older.
- Children aged 12 to 16 will be accepted for travel only if their parents/guardians sign the Limited Liability Statement at check-in.
Japan Airlines Flight Requirements
- All passengers are requested to arrive at the departure terminal at least 60 minutes before domestic flights.
- The check-in counters at the airport will close 30 minutes before departure.
- Passengers are advised to arrive at the departure gate 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

- Log in to the tiket.com app using the account you used to purchase the flight ticket.
- Go to the My Order page, which you can access by tapping the button at the bottom of the app.
- Select the flight you wish to cancel and tap the Refund option.
- Choose a refund reason from the available options.
- Read the Terms and Conditions of ticket cancellation and press "Agree" to proceed.
- Select the passenger for whom you want to request the cancellation.
- Check the estimated refund amount and provide your bank account details if prompted.
- Review the details and make sure all information is correct, then click “Submit Refund”.

How to Reschedule Japan Airlines Tickets on tiket.com
- Login to the tiket.com application with the account used to buy plane tickets.
- Go to the My Order page, where you can press the button at the bottom of the application.
- Select the flight you want to change then press the Reschedule option.
- Read the reschedule Terms and Conditions and press agree to continue.
- Select the passenger who wants to request a cancellation.
- Click View Reschedule Fees to continue the process.
- Search and select new flights. Proceed to payment.
- After successful payment, a new e-ticket will be sent to your email and can be seen on the Your Orders page.

- Enter your booking code and last name as per your flight ticket.
- Select the flight you wish to check in for from the list that appears.
- If available, you can choose your preferred seat.
- Review and confirm the information you've entered.
- Once check-in is complete, you can print your boarding pass or save it in digital format.
- Prepare for Departure: Make sure to arrive at the airport according to the specified time for departure.
You can also check in directly at the Japan Airlines counter at the departure airport, no later than 30 minutes before departure (for domestic flights) and 60 minutes before departure (for international flights).
