This is an excellent hotel, very cheap! Why pay more? The food in the confinement was good and plentiful. Daniel our server was great, definitely worth a mention, he interacts well with us and makes our dining experience more enjoyable. I would strongly recommend this hotel if flying from Belfast or visiting the nec.

The price was worth the quality of service provided by the hotel staff, and they provide room condition and cleanliness. We will come back to this hotel when we come to Birmingham.

Two ibis hotels are situated in the same building. The budget is here. The explanation is in it's title when you check in at the ibis, which is for it to have a nice shared area for food, etc. The budget rooms appear to be on different floors. Check in was pleasant and quick, and it wasn't different from much more expensive 4 star lodging. The budget rooms are now reasonable. You don't get air conditioning, but you get a window that opens partially. There is a to and a bed in the room. You get a separate shower with shower gel and we. That's basically it. No tea and coffee. No luxuries. However, we had an am flight, so we weren't looking for anything more. The budget gave us what we wanted and promised. The hotel was quiet, the room was clean, and the shower was hot. If you were staying nearby, unless this is very cheap, I believe you'd have a better experience in another hotel or the other ibis floors if you were flying off. However, this hits the perfect place for getting up at 3. am.

This place was spotless. The bar area and food were excellent and reasonably priced. The guy who looked after us was a great man, but it's unfortunate that we can't remember his name, but having said that everyone on the team was excellent. The shift workers could not do enough for us when we returned in the early hours of the morning. Well done, keep up the great work! Excellent service! This is our second visit and will do so again when we fly out from New York.

The new owner was charming, check in was simple, there was work going on but it didn't affect my stay, and the receptionist couldn't have been more polite. Nothing was too much trouble, I must admit that I felt a little grumpy after my flight and holiday were both canceled. New cafe area looks great, only my complaint was that the menu was still closed. After reading previous reviews, I was a little concerned what I would encounter. But I was pleasantly surprised and I'll return the next time I'm down this route. I'll definitely return, and I'm looking forward to having breakfast the following time.
