Clean property. You can see the upkeep and effort. I paid $23 to lay my head during a road trip from Detroit to Phoenix. I appreciated the bamboo mattress.

Hotel was quiet, comfortable, and satisfying. Bathroom was clean but had strange odor. Water didn’t drain well. Room was just what we needed for the price point.

The hotel is well-maintained, but just very old, so it gives the impression of being far poorer quality than it really is. Old fixtures and so on. I am NOT complaining, but first impressions can be a little off-putting. The place is historic, I think, so maybe they can eventually do something for that. Great staff and like I said, they handle the property very well.
