3 Nächte verbrachten wir bei VP in der Mocona Lodge. Check in und Check out waren gut. Die Lodge liegt im Naturschutzgebiet. Wir hatten immer sehr schönes Wetter. Die Menü-Auswahl wurde mit uns täglich besprochen. Das Essen war schmackhaft. Die Lodge bietet viele Aktivitäten an: Kayak, Seilpark usw.. Der Wasserstand des Rio Uruguay war gut, so dass wir mit dem Boot die längsten Flusswasserfälle der Welt besichtigen konnten. Begleitete Wanderungen im primären subtropischen Regenwald oder auch der Besuch eines privaten botanischen Gartens, nebst schönen Sonnenuntergängen, bereicherten unseren Aufenthalt sehr. Die kompetenten, freundlichen Guides sprachen Spanisch und Englisch. Das Personal der Lodge war freundlich.

This was the worst place we stayed during our five-week trip to Argentina. It is obvious that management is having issues because the staff was very unpleasant and the entire facility has a run-down feel. This is a typical location that has now been abandoned and started to look pretty good. The trails were not maintained and the bathroom was quite filthy. The dining area feels like a cafeteria for the breakfast is truly inadequate, and the cabins are outdated and in need of some tacky. None of this places employees is doing anything for themselves. If possible, avoid it. Mercury iguana, this is a big, contemporary hotel with limited character, yet it is certainly a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the suite, which was very nice, and everything was in good shape and tidy. The dinner was excellent, but the huge and light-filled dining room creates a false sense of atmosphere.

I highly recommend this place. The location is on a large 900 hectare private reserve that adjoins rp moving falls and the biological sabot. Some of the most stunning jungle ever. The lodge has approximately 4 am of its own great trails, including a small waterfall and two hanging bridges. They have a small blind for viewing fauna, where we saw two types of tinamou, Grey Fox, about, and deer. This was only our third and fifth nights in Argentina, but we were able to add around 80 birds to our lists. Cabins are well located and a short distance apart along a boardwalk and with good balconies for birdbath. The room is basic, but the bed is quite comfortable. Power comes from a generator, so between 11 am and 7 am there is no AC or charging. Additionally, the power goes out as you leave the room. So, the room is a little hot, so we should focus on charging at crucial times. I'm not sure why argentina is not switching to solar like most ecolodges around the world? The staff is exceptional. Very efficient, friendly, and welcoming. They tried hard to accommodate our very limited Spanish skills and in every way they made our stay enjoyable. The bottom line 5 star staff and location. 3 star cuisine and rooms.

Thank you for everything. I will gladly return with my entire family the next time. The hotel is amazing and surrounded by nature which is soul healing. The staff are out of this world. I loved seeing so many trees from our room window. A hidden paradise without a phone signal, ideal for detoxing our urban habits.

The accommodation here was really subpar in every way. And then, the food here was really good and very professional, especially considering the nature on the moon and their role in the lodge. After that, they are very different from the others on the list of the above rated food here. Subsequently, the falls are underwater and not visible. Subsequently, the food is subpar and the staff is nice and helpful.

Excelente emplazamiento. En algunas áreas el personal parece algo desbordado por el trabajo, fundamentalmente en atención del restaurante. Quizás les falta un poco de experiencia. Gustavo trata de suplirlo todo el tiempo. De todos modos la predisposición es excelente sobre todo de René y el encargado de las actividades, Leandro. La comida es muy buena.

O lugar é sensacional, porém tem que ter sorte de pegar dias com sol. Fiquei 2 dias, um de chuva e um de sol, o de chuva foi um pouco entediante pois o hotel estava sem internet e não pegar torre de celular lá. Já o dia de sol foi muito legal. as atividades que tem no hotel são maravilhosas, o atendimento é muito bom também. Enfim, dei azar na internet mas no final sai muito satisfeito.
