Beachcomber on the Spit is a very good place for a getaway near the beach. It is close to shops, restaurants and a supermarket, and a car is not necessary. It is a well cared for complex with very helpful on-site managers. It is also very quiet, especially during the week. I would happily stay here again especially for a winter getaway.

It seems to be the peaceful end of Mooloolaba, so it just depends what your after. The apartments are beachside but the trees are between your balcony and the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. It's not frills and as relaxing as you want it to be. I would definitely consider returning here in the future.

We were able to sit in the sun all day thanks to the wonderful location and the fact that the ground-floor apartment had a courtyard, which was fantastic. This apartment has a large bedroom. The only minor issue was that while the kitchen was fully equipped with crockery and china, the usual soft extras, such as cling wrap, oil, and so on, were lacking. It would be good if the coffee plunger were replaced with a coffee machine. Boxtel was available on previous visits to the apartments, but this time, there was only freetoair access. Take caution as the hot water in this apartment was extremely hot, especially for children staying.

We loved our stay at Beachcomber. It’s in a great location, easy walk to restaurants and bars at the wharf and a short walk to the main strip. We stayed in a bottom level 2 bed, 2 bath unit which was really spacious with a large paved courtyard out front. Barbecue, outdoor table and sun lounges in the courtyard we’re great. Full kitchen with cooking facilities. It was only a few steps down from the courtyard to the beach entrance, or out to the beachside walkway. The pool area is nice and clean with plenty of space. The Manager was very helpful with great communication, made check in very easy. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The beach is just a quick 100 walk through the dunes, and shops and cafes are a pleasant 500m walk along the beach or boardwalk. The Spit is our favourite holiday location, and The Beachcomber is one of the better apartments. We will be back.

The Beachcomber was out of the hustle & bustle of Mooloolaba itself but close enough/in walking distance of cafes, restaurants & Coles. Loved the location ... 2 minute walk to the beach. Spacious, clean & well equipped.

5 days holiday from Auckland. Lovely time of the year for me, sunny and warm but not too hot. It was relaxing, no stress, lots of opportunities for walking, swimming, dinning out. Everything worked out as planned, even the pick up coach to the Airport was exactly on time.
