Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Unfortunately it was just 1 night. Would have preferred to have remained longer. Our need was magpie unit 3. It is immaculately clean, has a washing machine, dryer which was wonderful for us, plenty of tea and coffee, and all the cooking options you need. The view is breathtaking. The sheep were just a bonus. A short 5 minute walk from the beach which we had to ourselves. Will definitely return.

I loved this place. You get the best country and seaside views. From the moment we arrived at this lovely beach hut with uninterrupted views of Diamond Island to the private track that led us to the beach to enjoy a walk on low tide to the island.

We came from Victoria as four couples, primarily to attend a swim competition. We reserved three units for four couples for four nights. We had a terrific time. The setting and views are incredible. We would wake up each morning to a spectacular sunrise over the paddock, Diamond Island, and the sea. We walked to the gulch, swam in daubs bay, and other activities as we came from Victoria, which was accustomed to cold water. It takes approximately one to two hours to walk to and from Lichen township. Delicat and wineglass bay walks, along with a drink and lunch at Devils Corner and other charming wineries, are essential activities. The town's great cafes and coffees, as well as the farm shed, are all close by. A fantastic location to stay and see everything the east coast of Tasmania has to offer. Shane was extremely helpful. The swims through the kelp gutters were unforgettable. We won't be coming back for the next years devil swim.

The property is located off the taxman highway and offers breathtaking ocean views. The online photos do not do this location justice. It is in a fantastic location with views from the veranda and the large picture window inside. Our apartment was the smallest of three, but it was enough for two people and comfortable. The interior has been renovated to a high standard, and the paintwork throughout is fresh and unblemished. The unit was immaculately clean and fresh. The beach is a five-minute walk away, but the best part comes at night, when the penguins come ashore and walk up to their burrows. A small group of them reside under the house and are very vocal when they return each night. It's really astounding how noisy such small, little creatures can be. The following time, we'll come back and remain longer.

What a waste of time. I enjoy the view of the ocean and at night and the peace and quiet. The bed was beautiful and neat.
