Amazing views and so comfortable it was a pleasure to be there. Close to the wharf and walking distance to a variety of options. Highly recommend this for a short stay.

A really comfortable bed and a beautiful view from our bedroom. The weather was ordinary when we arrived, so we hit the bar and made great friends with the bar staff the cocktail menu. The next day it was cooler, so we went out. Food was excellent both dinner and breakfast, and the staff were fantastic in every interaction. Will come back if we visit Tasmania once more.

At the end of a 2 week tour of Lassie, we stayed at The Friycinet Lodge. We had a spa room with a view of the bay. The room was big, comfortable, and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sunset view over the bay is amazing.

I really recommend this place. This place is very peaceful and has excellent photos potential where ever you look. The location is quite strategic, as it also has excellent walks and beaches near by. There is a restaurant and staff that is excellent.

The atmosphere was comfortable and I really enjoyed my stay at this place. The condition is also beautiful. There are no better locations to sit and drink while watching the sun set over the bay than on the lodge's balcony. The bay restaurant was excellent with excellent service and tasty but not great food. The staff and service at the lodge are really friendly, helpful, and professional. But. For the price of the room, we had a superior spa room with a bay view. The price of the room was really low. I imagine times were tough during the year, but as soon as some funds are available, a major makeover should take place. Our screen door fell off its hinges, and the cabinetry around the mini bar fell apart. The spa bath was beautiful, the bathroom was huge and nice, and the bed was quite comfortable. Plus, there was a free minibar and a daily treat. I would love to return to the Freycinet Lodge, but I think I'd rather wait for it to be renovated first.

Under norma management and ownership, Freycinet Lodge has developed. The eateries had in no way changed, and the staff was excellent. Although inexpensive, older lodges that are more contemporary are fairly dark but cozy and quite expensive for the amenities. The internet and reception were both poor, the main ground floor common area being dark and having extremely poor heating on a chilly day. A better resort should and can do better. This is probably where you will stay if you want to see Freycinet and not break the bank completely.
