I stayed in the newly renovated former caretakers apartment. The only upstairs apartment in Oolong. The apartment was perfect for three people with everything they needed and very clean. The apartment has air conditioning in all rooms, which is essential in the tropics but not required for us in June. I would suggest that people who don't like stairs avoid this unit because there are lots of stairs to climb to get to your unit, but this wasn't a problem for us. The unit is only a 5 minute walk from the pub, which has a lovely communal pool and delicious food. Arcadia Beach, which is also just a 5 minute walk, is beautiful and has manicured gardens around it. Ideal spot for families and children. I happened to see another unit that had not yet been renovated. Very rustic, so it may be worth asking when booking if the unit you are looking at has been renovated.

I would advise those who don't like stairs to avoid this apartment as there is a lot to go up to get into your unit, but this wasn't a problem for us. The units are just a 5-minute walk from the pub, which also has a lovely public pool and good food. Arcadia Beach, also a 5-minute walk away, is lovely, with well-kept gardens surrounding the beach. Perfect spot for families and kids. I happened to check another unit in which it hasn't been renovated. Very rustic, so ask when booking if the unit you are looking at has been renovated.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Alma Bay is just a two-minute walk away, so we could have a good time. The room was cozy, clean, and the view from the windows was great. This place is suitable for our one-child family. I will come back.
