We stayed at Womboyn Lake Resort to walk sections of the Light-to-light Walk in Ben Boyd National Park. As soon as Peter knew this, he offered to ferry us to the start and end-points of each section to allow us to walk the track as a one-way walk. It's around 30 minutes by car each way over rough NP roads to the walk start/end points, so this wasn't a 5 minute exercise, but Peter was happy to oblige - and I had to force him to accept something for his time and petrol. The chalets themselves have lovely views across the lake, and we sat outside for dinner each night watching the sun go down. And there was all we needed for our stay including covered BBQs and a magical spa (ask them to heat up in advance). So, all-in-all, we'll worth the effort of navigating unsealed NP roads during the NSW flood events, which luckily only effected one day of our stay + a few "interesting" boots-off swollen creek crossings on the lovely Light-to-light track!

Was great to be right on the lake so I could leave my fishing kayak beached and readily accessible to either drop a line in the water or go sight seeing. Great beaches nearby too

Paula was very friendly and hospitable. Lovely and clean self contained units, great pool and fishing on the lake. Close to Eden and beaches. Overall a really nice stay. Would return for sure.

Lake Wonboyn is a beautiful place. The cabins have most things you need but can do with a little updating. Peter and Paula are really lovely.

Ok, this place is really a pearl. Fantastic surroundings, no disturbing traffic. The hosts are very helpfull in every possible way. But sadly it really needs some improvements. The furnitures are relative old an the aircondition in my cabbin was out of order. A bit painting would also help. As long as this is out of your interests this is a lovely place to stay for a while.
