The staff at the property were excellent. Helpful and hard working. I left feeling like I had made many new friends. They arranged our arrival from Belize city and departure for Ambergris Caye. We stayed at the hotel on the north island but used amenities at their sister hotel on the South Island of Caye Caulker. Staff was equally friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent at both locations where we tried all the local dishes.

Everything was great! The staff was amazing and so kind. The service was wonderful and if you needed something all you had to do was ask. The restaurant has fabulous food and drinks. If you are planning a trip, go stay at Island Magic ❤️🌺

The villa was clean, updated, and very comfortable. The view and the pool is beautiful. The bar had awesome happy hour drinks every day, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. My only issue was we charged food and drinks to the room instead of paying upfront and without getting a receipt. At checkout the bill was enormous and I had nothing to tabulate the added costs. Lesson learned.

If we could give them 10 stars we would!! Everything was above expectations and the staff are more like friends! Thank you Justin, Eli and Robbie for making our stay the best. I’m forgetting other names but everyone was unbelievably kind!! We will be back for sure!!!!

We loved our stay at Magic Island, its a great hotel if you want to have a relaxing holiday but still able to access the south side of the island at ease. The rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean and have everything you need. The staff really make this hotel, they are amazing and create such a special experience for guests!

Recommend this place 100%! It’s a great escape from the South Island. The villa was clean and well maintained, the food was excellent and all of the staff were exceptional. We loved our stay there. My only small request is to have coffee makers in all of the rooms.

This hotel, the location, staff, our room - it really was fantastic. The location is less than 10 minutes walk to the split ferry, so dipping in and out of South Caulker was really easy. The pool, beach and bar/restaurant were exactly what we wanted - fairly quiet and very chilled. All in all, a great stay. Thanks

The highlight of our stay at Island Magic Villas was the incredibly attentive & communicative staff. Property Manager Robbie saw to every detail of picking us up from the airport and delivering us to the hotel. This involved a taxi to the island ferry, golf cart pick up and transportation across the main island, with another short ferry to north Caye Caulker, and pick up yet again by golf cart. We would not have known how to navigate this without Robbie taking care of the details. We received the same level of care when we departed six nights later, this time taking a short flight from the island to BZE. Robbie was readily available on WhatsApp, and we appreciated the kind, constant, and professional level of attention from each staff member. Shout outs to Josslin, Eli, Justino! We enjoyed many delicious meals—and beverages—at Peach on the Beach. (Grilled whole fish and frozen drinks were favorites.) We took advantage of the bikes on property as we explored the entire length of charming and diverse Caye Caulker. We even spotted crocodiles at the edge of the mangrove preserve at the far north end of north Caye Caulker! The view from our room was lovely, overlooking the pool. Second story suites were booked, plan ahead and try to get these for an even more expansive view. Thank you one and all for making us feel so welcomed and at home at Island Magic Villas. Memories of our time together remain with us and we pray for blessings upon each of you.

Great location if you want to escape the sometimes chaotic nature south of the split ! Staff are amazing and friendly making you feel so welcome! The only thing I’d improve is to make sure you have fresh drinking water inside your unit as ours did not. However we asked for drinking water and the staff were able to provide us a couple of bottles and a pitcher.

Island Magic Villas had both positives and challenges. Booking was confusing because the Villas are on the north side, which actually means across the Split by water, not the north side of the main island. I was initially disappointed, but it ended up being nice to be away from the bustle while still being able to go into town when we wanted. However, this does mean relying on the shuttle (which sometimes did not answer the phone) and paying each time to cross. This was difficult for my mother, who recently had hip surgery. The property itself was beautiful and clean, and the swing chairs by the beach and pool were lovely. Our rooms were huge, which we appreciated as a family of four, and my mother had a very spacious room as well. The men on staff were wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and incredibly helpful. Robbie deserves a special shout‑out. Housekeeping staff were very sweet, although the cleaning could use better training. Unfortunately, the woman in the main office for our first two days was rude, unhelpful, and often seemed annoyed to deal with guests. The restaurant was average and priced on the higher side, so I recommend eating in town—Magic Cup on the south side was great for breakfast. Most importantly, there was loud construction right outside our building from 6 AM to 6 PM daily, with no warning from the hotel. It seriously affected our stay. Before booking, make sure the construction next door is completed.
