We initially planned on staying a week, but ended up extending another week because this hotel was exactly what we needed. Our room was clean, and the hotel is in a great location, minutes from everything. What we like most about it is the tranquility, despite being in the middle of the city. It's so peaceful and quiet, while you feel like a guest in someone's home. My daughter is autistic so whenever we go out and she feels overwhelmed, this quiet place is just a short tuktuk ride away. We also traveled with our two cats and they enjoy looking out the windows. They did catch a lizard that came into our room a few nights ago and I'm trying to find it. The hotel also has a library as well as a restaurant. I haven't had the chance to dine there yet, but the menu looks wonderful.

I liked the book collection in the dining room - I found a book there that kept me occupied during my entire stay. I liked the other guests - quietly focused on eco projects. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I live in Phnom Penh and this is a wonderful place to escape to for a few days. This well-run hotel is delightful with lots of interesting areas to explore. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious and the adjoining lounges and libraries are an extra bonus. Management and staff are friendly and helpful and create a welcoming atmosphere. Overall it is excellent value for money and a great place to relax in Phnom Penh.

Was apprehensive at first as it doesn't have much kerb appeal, but once inside all was forgiven. Good staff helped us book things, good food (even if it is vegan), an excellent location near the trendy Bassac lane and easy walking (or tuktuk'ing) to sights. Not the cheapest in town, but value feels about right

We had a wonderful stay at yk art house. The guest house is in a quieter area about a 30minute walk from the central palace area of pp. There is a vegetarian or vegan restaurant downstairs, a large book library, and a weekly ukelele circle. We didnt use the pool, but it looked clean if a bit small! Our room was the largest room we had within our budget in sea, the linen and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is the staff and checkin process, it went smoothly but was short and didnt cover some key points like when the outer gates were locked by the night guard. We quickly worked it out and it wasnt a problem but it would have been good to know to avoid a little panic when we returned at 10 pm to a locked gate.

I stayed in room 10, above the cafe, which closed at 9.30 pm, so it wasnt bothersome. The rooms have a ceiling fan and air conditioning unit. There is also a small fridge. The bathroom is small but adequate with a shower. One evening the electricity went out briefly. The cafe serves coffee, smoothies with soymilk, and breakfast plates. I enjoyed the hummus, spinach, and tomato on toast. Happy hour cocktails. Filtered water is available from a tap at the bar. The pool is small and right next to the cafe, so it doesnt appeal to me, but it might be suitable for a dip. Pleasant reception and staff. Orang, a resident cat.

We came right after the airport. The room we had was very big for the two of us! There was a lot of storage space. The room was quite clean. The room has strong air conditioning. The room we had also has a ceiling fan. We slept for about 11 hours peacefully without interruption. We needed a clean, quiet place to rest after being awake for over 40 hours and yk art house did not disappoint! We woke up late and had to request an extra 30 minutes for checkout and they were very understanding! They also have a storage space for us to store our backpacks after checking out which was very nice of them! This guest house is also less than a 10 minute walk from aeon mall which we stopped by several times for lunch and dinner and to get away from the heat! Highly recommend this guest house!.

The staff was very friendly and helpful when booking bus tickets etc. We ended up staying here three times during our trip to cambodia, and i would definitely recommend this place to everyone! A wonderful place to stay in phonom penh. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the vegan restaurant at the hotel served delicious food. The garden restaurant is a beautiful and quiet oasis when you want to take a break from exploring the city. Also a big plus for the library for reading during the holidays!.

We stayed for a second night and will definitely stay again! This is unbeatable for the price. A bohemianstyle hotel with a lot of greenery and chill. Inside are a cafe, restaurant, pool, and library. What more could you possibly want for this price? Our beds were spotless and cozy. The shower was hot. And our room was spacious. The restaurant is vegan and offers a comprehensive menu. The coffee was also excellent!.

Weve stayed here twice, the second time was in the classic apartment, which is insanely great value for money. Its cozy, spacious and makes you feel at home. They have ceiling fans and air conditioning and the apartment is fully equipped with kitchen equipment. The staff are great, there are amazing cats, a happy security dog, and easy access to the city center. Its also right next to bassac avenue. They have a lovely restaurant with a nice menu. You never feel like putting someone out and it is very relaxing. This is now our goto place in phonom pehn.

The accommodation is dogfriendly in a socially conscious guesthouse with an artistic vibe and the popular bong bonlai vegan restaurant. Yk art house is one of the few places in phonom penh that welcomes dogs, and it is definitely worth considering when traveling with fourlegged friends. Nita gave us a warm welcome and assigned us to apartment 12 on the second floor and apartment 6 for our son. Apartment 12 provides simple clean accommodation with an en suite bedroom, kitchenette, and sitting area with a second restroom, and is cooled by two efficient air conditioners. Our two dogs felt very comfortable staying at yk art house, and we would gladly stay with them again.

Very bohemian and trendy with a library and an almost imposingly eco-friendly atmosphere with signs about how to dispose of everything, yet the drain in the shower was somewhat slow and overflowing (gross), which from an eco standpoint is rather ironic. The room was comfortable, yet small, and the furnishings were not as new as some other properties. The atmosphere was quiet within the hotel, and the guests were respectful and quiet, but the property next door was under construction, and there was about three hours of drilling and sawing going on each day, luckily ending around 6 pm. The staff was very friendly and helpful - quite impressive. Overall, it was a unique boutique hotel that seems to try hard to appeal to the environmentally-conscious traveler.

Small basic rooms, but adequate for what I needed. Kind of dark though. Bed and pillows average SE Asia comfort. The staff had limited English when I had questions. Glad they were pet friendly, so thank you for that. Refillable bottles provided with filtered water in restaurant was also great. Good location and the hood in the vegetarian restaurant was good. The pumpkin amok and mango smoothies especially.
