A great space for a business traveller. Clean, with a nice kitchenette. About a 15 minute walk (flat) through Gastown to the Convention Centre.

The team at Block House was very responsive to messages. Made check in easy and the rooms were amazing. The location for Gastown was perfect and the restaurants in the area were also great. 10/10. PM

Chambre loft grande , très propre et avec une petite cuisine bien équipée. Salle de bain spacieuse et qualité des produits offerts. Emplacement idéal dans Gastown près de bons restos et de certaines attractions ( place du Canada, steamclock).

It's a heritage property converted into boutique hotel rooms right in the heart of Gastown. The neighbourhood can be a bit colorful but we found it to be amazing. The rooms are perfect for an overnight getaway and the hotel is very close to the Helicopter terminal to Victoria as well the float plane terminal. 100% will stay again.

Although the neighborhood was rough, the hotel was safe. It was a quick process to get into the building and the room. No front desk staff to deal with.

We loved the room. The property is located close to restaurants and shopping. I was not a fan of the parking lot.

Property was excellent. Room was spacious ; much bigger than in the pictures. Everything was spotless. Staff were super helpful and accommodating; nothing too much trouble. Everything worked as it should. Car parking is available at the rear of the building. Gas Town is a 5minute walk away.

Clean room - responsive staff available on phone. Parking was convenient. The shower handle did break off and we couldn’t get the pull out bed to go back in. But outside of those minor things, the stay was great!

Fantastic spot! Very easy to get in and out. Great location. Bit noisy so bring some earplugs to sleep. I slept great!

There is no front desk here. Everything is done voice-mail. It was very incomplete not having a front desk or a live person to help guests. The area is iffy, gone way and you’re in Gastown, go the other way you are in skid row. We came back one night and there was a man sleeping in the doorway. Room was basic and loud.
