I needed to find a place close to transit that would accommodate myself and a friend. It was great to have a kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. I would definitely stay again.

As described, super clean, comfy studio. Great bed, great storage. Staff answered promptly by email, was very helpful and accommodated requests to the best of their abilities. The only thing I could criticise and it is a bit petty (lol) is that the interior designer went a bit crazy with the fake plant order, we could definitely do with less fake plants around taking up so much space and being in the way.

Keefer House (KH) is so up-to-date, so well-designed and so comfortable that you might just stay in and miss the attractions of Vancouver such as the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Garden that is just across the street. My apartment faced busy Keefer Street and from the balcony I could hear the street traffic and the distinctive noise of the Skytrain just a few blocks away. When the door to the balcony was closed it was silent. The AC was effective and whisper quiet. KH is a reasonable walk from the Pacific Central Railway Station and a 20-25 minute walk to the heart of downtown Vancouver. One reviewer deemed the surrounding area "sketchy". It is in old, historic Chinatown and there are security gates across storefronts, plastic screens in fast-food restaurants and people living on the street. I found many of the restaurants uninviting but less than two blocks away at the intersection of Main Street and Georgia Street is Dalina Coffee Kitchen. All white inside, it looks like an outpost of KH: tasty pastries, light food and good coffee. Also, a bit farther at Abbot Street and W. Pender Street is Keto Caveman Bakery, Café and Bar. Inside it's funky and a bit rundown, but where else could you get a lambergini or poutine. There is also a very popular cocktail bar next to KH. Heading west on Keefer Street there is an upscale selection of restaurants. The check-in process is all online and I think might be daunting for some.

Very well equipped studio apartment close to skytrain station (Stadium-Chinatown, about 10 min walk) and many restaurants. Can strongly recommend Fiorino Italian Street food!! Supermarkets (T and T, Nesters) also about a 10 minute walk. Staff were very responsive and helpful. Downsides - the studio is a bit tight for space eg you have to crawl into bed from the foot end, but to be fair, the room photos showed this. Also, as others have mentioned, a degree of homelessless in the adjacent areas but we never felt unsafe. Thanks again to the staff!!

The Keefer hotel was a unique experience in that there is no on-site front desk; all the communication with staff occurs remotely. That being said, there did appear to be a security guard available 24/7 and housecleaning was present in the mornings. The one-bedroom apartment in which we stayed was very clean and new, and I liked that we had a four-person dining room table. The only frustration was that the stovetop was pretty impossible to figure out without directions. I tried to heat water in the teakettle and could not get the burner turned on; I finally had to give up and heat my water in the microwave. The digital display on the oven was off by one hour, probably due to daylight savings time and we couldn't figure out how to update its time, either. But those were minor annoyances overall. We would definitely consider staying again, and we did like the proximity to the Chinese Garden, which we had come to see. It was literally around the corner.

Enjoyed our stay at Keefer house. The unit was modern and spacious, with a lovely patio. The area was far safer and nicer than what I expected. Communication was phenomenal, and I’d stay again.

Best part was checking out. Bo front desk but they are always watching. I left my luggage in the lobby for 3min, when I returned with car it was all goneput away in a room. Scary but awesome

Super-nice, super-clean, super-comfortable and secure apartment. Fun bars and restaurants right next door and nearby. Even a Michelin star! Check-in went very smoothly. Kind of sketchy neighborhood in surrounding area walking towards Gastown, so I would avoid that especially at night.

Spotless spacious room with everything needed, stove, refrigerator, laundry. Would have liked to have an instruction sheet on how to operate the stovetop and A/C unit. But they are quick to answer any questions via text.

Keefer house staff is excellent in replying to any concern within minutes. The property itself is clean and modern decor, however the online pictures are not necessarily what you're getting so make sure to ask for specific pictures of the unit in question as we ended up with a really small balcony and living space. The location is a bit sketchy also, hasting is a couple blocks away, overall it was a good experience.
