Lizard Creek Lodge is the best hotel to stay at in Fernie. The condo units have everything you need and it’s perfect for a larger family or friends. Thank goodness for air conditioning on hot days. Not at rentals have that in Fernie. The only thing I was they had was breakfast options in the morning or a little store to buy things. Are sure you bring your food with you because there are not many places close by to get food.

Rooms were very spacious and clean, full kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Resort was very nice and well layed out. The hot tubs were easily accessible, the restaurant was very good and the portions were perfectly sized and priced. The spa services were very good and ha I g those on site made it very convenient. The location of this resort made it very easy to travel to Fernie and around Southern BC quickly.

There was not a thing missing in our suite - nothing - it was perfect! The bed was dreamy - bedding was wonderful. The view was just spectacular. The staff were just lovely, helpful, caring. We will definitely be returning there!!

Great location. Very quiet in shoulder season - had pool to ourselves most of the time. (Mid June 2026). Stayed in main lodge where pool is and was perfect location.

Solid value right on the hill, nice pool and hot tub (although the bubbles were not working :). However, potential not quite utilized, restaurant usually empty for some reason, likely a bit overprices, and closes early too. Also, kind of disappointing not to have any bike storage given bikers constitute a large customer base. Kitchen poorly equipped (no sponge, towel, pans in disgusting shape). Otherwise really nice.

Hotel was very nice and clean. We were there at the end of May/start of June so understandably it was the off season. So, limited options for food on the property. The pool was great and hot tub was nice and hot but the jets didn’t work. Overall we did love it there and will definitely be back to stay.

Elisa did a great job finding us the right condo with ski hill views. The initial unit allotted was quite disappointing — ground floor with zero views, and kind of dark since the bushes and trees blocked the sunlight. Essentially, we’d have been looking at the roots of trees and nothing else! Luckily it was shoulder season and not quite full, so she was able to give us options to choose from.

We had a quiet, restful stay in the shoulder season. Enjoyed the fireplace and the view of the mountain. Would have been a true ski-in stay as the lift is 50m from the door. Took several beautiful hikes nearby and enjoyed the local restaurants.

Kitchen lacked bowls for salad and fry pan was badly warped. Toilet had black lines under rim. Toilet paper rough and unabsorbant. King bed was fabulous!!
