Stayed in a family tipi with my husband. We had a picnic bench and fire pit with a grate at our site. They provide a lantern and a kerosene heater for the tipi, which was very nice. Shower and bathroom is cleaned twice a day, hot water, great pressure. Drinking water available. Very peaceful setting not too far from Banff.

We had one of the very large family size glamping structures. Had a private outhouse and then there are a few real/flushing toilets and showers by the main checkin building. Our structure was very large w 2 queens and pull out sofa. And a full size table inside (but you’re not supposed to eat inside so you don’t attract animals. We cooked outside on a small stove we brought and ate at the outside table. Was a very nice location and very clean. Was very close to the creek that I know has since flooded, so I’m not sure how the sites fared after the flood.

Our night in Kananaskis was absolutely phenomenal at Sundance by Basecamp. Everything was exactly as described. The staff were phenomenal whether it was coming to help with our amenities in the tent and lighting our heat source or bringing items or answering questions. They were so great. It’s nice to have privacy and be on your own, but also the safety and comfort of knowing that there is a team on site staying in another location on the ground. In case you need them. Everything was exceptional. It felt safe. It was fun. There were lots of places to explore in the area the general store was great. Everything was 10 out of 10. We will be back very soon

The tipi was great! Lots of room and the heater made it cozy and warm. The grounds are fantastic! So many little paths to wander and the river is beautiful. Great access to hiking trails and very close to Kananaskis Village. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed in one of the newly renovated trapper's tent and it was wonderful. It would have been excellent if they at least have some hooks for jackets or towels and provide each tent with metal bear food lockers as it is very inconvenient for campers to store food and coolers inside the vehicles especially for those walk-in tents.

Excellent facilities for what we were looking for, on our weekend to Kanaskis. This unit is truly what 'Glamping' is all about. The added touch of our own private 'washroom/outhouse' was a bonus. Super close to Kanaskis village which made it super convinient to visit the Nordic Spa for our girls weekend. The price was a little on the high side, and the only negative was that our wood stove wasn't working properly. Night one, we were able to get the stove to go, however day 2, we could not get it to catch. Our wood was completly dry, not sure if the damper was working properly, or if there was something plugging the chimney. Would have made our stay for the weekend a 10/10, however with this small hiccup, its a solid 9. (There was a heater on site)

Amazing service, private and clean rooms. Bathrooms were very nice with hot showers, with clean outhouses nearby. Felt very safe from any wildlife. Beautiful views of the mountains all around us too!
