This was an amazing stay for the kind of gateway I was looking for. There’s lots of parking spots and easy to navigate. The room had a good balcony lake view, kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker with coffee/tea pods and cutlery. The room is nice and cosy with just one cosy chair though. The bed was comfy although the comforter and pillows smelled not so good; The odour felt like the beddings had been re-used and hadn’t been washed from previous stays. The bathroom grout was actually not so clean and just pouring water down the walls I could see dirt sweeping off. Plastic Shower curtain could use a good wash too. Otherwise generally I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely revisit again! Hope next time the bathroom is cleaner and beddings too! :-)

The place was truly amazing, and we were captivated by the breathtaking view. The only downside was the BBQ, which, unfortunately, was spoiled and couldn't be used. Despite that, we highly recommend The Lodge and definitely plan to return in the future. Hopefully, by then, the BBQ issue will be resolved, allowing us to enjoy a meal while fully watching the stunning sunset.

Beautiful spot. Jason is fantastic and advised us of a live concert taking place on site the night we stayed there and helped us get tickets even after it was sold out. The event was great and made for a very memorable stay.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway with an amazing view, I would highly recommend the Lodge on Harrison. It was clean, kitchen was stocked with all your needs, with a private BBQ and fire pit. No need to leave the property.

The Lodge on Harrison Lake was a delightful surprise. Not a hotel in the traditional sense, it felt much more like an Air B&B stay; there is no lobby or visible staff. Communication with the management was wonderful, and we received a text with the access code to our room, parking information, etc. The room was spotless, appeared recently renovated (though the building itself can't be very old), and was very comfortable. The suites are perched on a steep, rocky slope that hangs over the shore of the lake. Below is the very cool little sauna and a path to the fantastic geodesic dome structure situated on pilings over the lake. Down another path is a lovely area closer to the water, with a dock, a covered outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ and sink, and a fire pit. Firewood is available onsite for purchase or readily available locally at a number of places around the village. The views from our suite were wonderful, the bathroom large and pleasant, and the kitchenette stocked with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, Keurig (with a selection of coffee & tea). There are utensils and dishes and even a little folding table and chair. The small balcony with two chairs would be amazing in warmer weather. The Lodge is probably two minutes' drive from the village proper, and was a delightful surprise for us on our recent winter getaway weekend. Highly recommended.
