Great location, we got lucky with a beautiful day. Breakfast was helpful before we head out for our day. Hot tub with the view of the beach was amazing!

So peaceful and quiet. The outdoor kitchen area was fantastic and well equipped. When the host found out we were going to use the BBQ, he provided many amenities to help us with our meal plus started the BBQ for us. The room was clean, and nicely updated. Would definitely stay at Viking Lodge again.

I really enjoyed that it was off the beaten path; despite the short gravel road. Very quiet! They were super friendly and very helpful! I would totally stay there again!

Beautiful location! The rooms are small but comfy. Wonderful continental breakfast provided. The short drive the dirt road to get there is rough. Nice place to stay on our way to L'Anse aux Meadows. Highly recommend!

Amazing, well kept gem of a location. Perfect if you are visiting L'Anse Aux Meadows. the cabins were very clean, with excellent bedding and new heaters. It was nice and cozy after a wet and windy day outside. It would have been nice to have a protein option with breakfast, otherwise, amazing A+ place, would recommend and stay again.

We stayed one night on our way out of St. Anthony (headed back to Deer Lake). The Viking Lodge and setting are amazing. Super quiet, with a beautiful beachfront (stones, not sand) that had a firepit on the lake (although we did not use it). Our room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker and there is no restaurant nearby, so I recommend getting dinner in St. Anthony or another location before arriving at the hotel. If coming from St. Anthony, don't listen to google maps.....take the longer drive on the highway and use the "west entrance" using highway 435 and not the Highway 430 option. The owners have graded the road to 435 and it is a much smoother drive! The breakfast is offered from 730am - 1030am in a very comfortable breakfast room and we had great chats with other guests - very sociable place. Basic continental breakfast that was perfect to get the day started! I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great spot to stay with friendly staff. Small hotel gives more of an B&B experience with an amazing view and property right on the water. Hotel is located in the forest so the locations is both good and bad, great if you want to be near the water and nature poor location if you need amenities (town is a 15 minute drive). Free breakfast was basic but good, parking is plenty and there is free laundry on site.

Loved the atmosphere. Loved the room & the environment. We asked if we could stay another night, but unfortunately for no availability. The only problem is you have to go a few more for restaurants.
