Grace and Danny at reception were so inviting and very helpful. A bit far from town but a shuttle is offered to and from the beach everyday for guests. I recommend getting dinner at the hostel because the food was amazing every night. Very social and the pool was great to hangout by for a chill day.

Robert runs Dreamsea in Tamarindo. Robert is an incredible host. Dreamsea is the perfect escape for the adventurous. The camp is located a 10 min drive away from town. The environment is laid back and relaxed. They drive you down to the beach every day and they have events and party's at night. The tents were cozy and the meals were always tasty. The volunteers are all really hospitable and welcoming. If you're down for a unique experience, this is for you! The monkeys are loud at night, but for me that was all part of the fun. This is ideal for surfers, yoga enthusiasts, beach bums and free spirits.

Awesome place to meet young travelers. Surfers of all levels were welcome. They also had lots of activities like yoga and ping pong. A ways away from town...too far to walk.

If you are looking to be at one with nature, Dreamsea is the right place for you! We woke to howler monkeys each morning, right outside of our tent. The food was AMAZING and the bathrooms clean. The other campers were young and lively and partied late, but that's Tamarindo for you!

Staying at Dreamsea was an amazing experience! My twin brother and I arrived in Tamarindo and intended to stay only two nights. However, we loved it so much, we decided to stay 4! Everyone working at Dreamsea was young, attentive, energetic, and enthusiastic. All of the guests staying at Dreamsea were also super rad! It was a beautiful outdoor setting, with beautiful canvas tents and lots of nature. They also have other facilities, such as bathrooms and showers, a multi-tiered hangout space in a tree, hammocks, slacklines, and a workout area. The food was delicious, breakfast is provided, but dinner is worth it. This camp is truly about surf. Go if you want to learn. Go if you want to surf with other experienced surfers. There is plenty of opportunity to surf if you stay at Dreamsea. They shuttle you to the beach each day, at multiple different intervals. They have many different types, makes, and styles of boards to try. If you're not feeling a surf that day, they provide many other activities. They even offer extended excursions to the surrounding area, some surfing, some not. Either way, you will experience beautiful nature in great company. Everyone here is social late into the night. Go with an open mind, abandon your sleep schedule, and meet all the great people. Can't wait to return!

We are really lucky and can't wait to return. I remained at Dreamsea as a volunteer for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. All in all, it was less than an hour a day of help because my camp job was to help with supper. I loved Dreamsea's atmosphere, it's uncommon to find a place that is so successfully dedicated to solitary living. Every morning, we had a beautiful yoga session on an elevated platform in the jungle surrounded by trees, and every evening guests and volunteers alike would take part in incredibly enjoyable organized activities. In between, daytime was spent surfing and playing volleyball at the beach. This place is truly unique and as beautiful as it's social media portrays. Dreamsea also attracts brilliant creative likeminded individuals, and getting to know everyone, including Carlos and ollie, has been incredibly rewarding.

This place offers lots of facilities such as a nice pool and hot tub. And, the food here is even better. The best of everything I've ever tasted. The staff here was so lovely.

This place will leave you wanting to return! I adore this location more than any other place I have ever toured. It truly feels like a second home to me, and if I could, I would return countless times. An incredible blend of fun and relaxation. It's conveniently located in the jungle, where you can enjoy authentic tamarind and unwind by the lovely pool, as well as ride a complimentary shuttle into town to surf all day with the gifted surf instructors! I hadn't even tried surfing, and it's now one of my favorite activities! The entire location is like a big family, with guests, volunteers, and staff members all gather around for meals and enjoy a variety of engaging activities! I ate some of the best meals in my life and made some of my favorite memories here.

Dreamsea surf camp was everything I could have ever wanted and more. There is nothing I would change about the fantastic staff and amazing activities. Everyone is extremely helpful and truly creates a wonderful environment. There is always something to do here. Some nights consist of games and movies while others are spent partying until the sun rises again. There are countless options and there is always something to suit everyone. The location is fantastic, and the new pool is a wonderful location to relax! If you are considering going do it!.

I absolutely want to come back to Dreamsea if there is one place in the world that Id want to visit. It has everything you could wish for. The vibe is amazing. The people of the camp gather every day for amazingly delicious homecooked meals. The new pool is a fantastic addition to the establishment, providing both the opportunity to relax, read a book, and enjoy fantastic pool parties. The staff is excellent, always very helpful, and up for a good time. They truly make the dreamsea experience a million times more enjoyable. 1010!.

This place is largely populated by "work-awayers", these are travelers that volunteer at the camp and received discounted rates. During my stay in March, I'd say over 85% of the people their were these volunteers. Nothing wrong with that, just something I think is worth knowing in advance. Family style breakfast and dinner, along with a quick camp-wide meeting after dinner to discuss the next days events, all contribute to a family atmosphere, almost like an adult summer camp!
