Great lodge! My boyfriend and I stayed on the cappuccino cabin, and the views of Monteverde are incredible! The hotel has multiple trails to walk around, and we spotted plenty of butterflies and agouties.

We arrived with teens after a long drive in a downpour. Upon check in we learned there really were no gathering spaces or on-site options to get out of the cabin during bad weather, so it was not ideal for our circumstances. But, for activities in the area it is a great jumping off point and truly a magical little place. The breakfast was the best we had on our entire trip, and the sweet ladies who served it were just lovely. They even had a gluten free waffle ready to make for our daughter with celiac. It's a clean, beautiful, 5/5 little eco-lodge for a couples. But, If you're there during rainy season with teens/kids, maybe stay somewhere with a little more action.

Honestly a great deal for the price. A-frame tents were spacious (enough for us to open up two check in bags and a carry on and still be able to walk around). Our room has a view of the forest with nothing blocking it which was so amazing because we literally woke up to birds sitting in our balcony. We were only staying for one night and since we had an early start the next morning, the staff was nice enough to let us pick some items from their breakfast buffet before they had even opened. Honestly will recommend this hotel and will be prioritizing it for future stays as well!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tityra Lodge. The staff were very welcoming and professional, the cabin was very nicely maintained and decorated, the breakfast was excellent, and the grounds were a great place to watch the birds. We also really enjoyed drinking the coffee that was harvested right outside our room! It is family run, and it is clear they take a lot of pride in their property. Our room also had a dehumidifier, which was a very nice extra touch with all the moisture in the air. They also provided local candy to welcome us , which our kids loved!

Ein wahres Juwel in Monteverde! Diese Unterkunft war eines unserer Highlights auf unserer Rundreise - obwohl wir auch in anderen tollen Hotels untergekommen sind. Die ganze Anlage ist wunderschön gemacht mit einem eigenen kleinen Wanderweg und einer kleinen Kaffeefarm (den Kaffee gibt es zum Frühstück). Der gemütliche kleine Wellnessbereich mit Whirlpool und Sauna liegt malerisch im Wald und ist super nach einem Besuch im Nebelwald. Unsere Hütte war sehr geräumig und richtig gemütlich. Der Blick vom Bett in die Bäume ist toll! Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet und mit einer tollen Auswahl. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und hatten wundervolle 2 Nächte in der Tityra Lodge.

Proche Monteverde . Nous avons eu un chalet . Très agréable même si proche de la réception et de la route . Nous n’étions pas en pleine nature comme imaginé mais nous avons vu des cabines donnant sur la vallée. Possibilité de marcher autour de la finca (sentier). Le portail ferme à 22h ( demander un lien à la réception pour l’ouvrir). Bar/ restaurant à 5 min en voiture. Nous avons testé le jacuzzi ( froid lors de notre venue) . Petit déjeuner buffet très bon.

From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff was friendly. We stayed for 4 nights and reserved the hot tub once. We saw all kinds of birds and a coati family from our room. It was fantastic!!

Muy bonito, hermosa vista, los senderos super, desayuno muy rico, lo único que le falta al cuarto es un closet o mueble para poner los objetos personales. La atención muy buena y amable.

What a gem! from a warm welcome at check in to checkout Tityra lodge was a oasis in the mountains. We stayed as a family of four and and two bedrooms. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and although small there was plenty of choice. They even remembered my wife’s allergy which was mentioned at check in and highlighted unsuitable foods. We used the hot tub which was a lovely treat. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the boundary trail. It is a car drive from monteverde so would recommend if you have a car.
