I had a very happy and satisfying stay at this hostel. I enjoyed the best view from my room. The owner brought me lovely and nice breakfasts every morning. She is very nice and friendly. I would love to stay here again sometime in the future.

Great location, close to bus,beach. Owners were wonderful, very accommodating! The only draw back is that you have to climb many stairs to get to it which is difficult! Otherwise, fantastic!

We stayed five nights in a studio apartment and were more than satisfied. The location was excellent, close to a few wonderful restaurants and the Lapad beach, and the view from balcony was amazing. The apartment was clean and was perfect for us. I can warmly recommend!

Nous avons loué l' Appartement placé sur la baie de Lapad avec une vue imprenable sur une des baie plus belles d'Europe . L'appartement, en hauteur surplombant la mer , est situé très bien par rapport à la mer ( facilement accessible grâce à l'ascenseur de l'hôtel situé en contrebas) et aussi par rapport à l'arrêt des bus qui vont à la vieille ville de Dubrovnick . Le quartier où l'appartement est situé est très agréable et vivent mais l'appartement reste un havre de silence et de beauté. Rien que de s'asseoir sur la terrasse surplombant la mer et de regarder la lumière changer est une expérience qui vaut le voyage!

This is a family run apartment - lovely people whoa re very helpful and willing to help and recommend places to visit/eat. The apartment itself had everything you would need, clean room, kitchen and bathroom which looked new. Plenty of wardrobe space if you're planning a long stay. The only downfall is the apartment is based on a hill - very close to lapad beach and easy access, so I would recommend this place for people who enjoy walking :)

Aivan uusi huoneisto, erittäin siistissä kunnossa. Rauhallinen ympäristö. Upea terassi, josta hieno näköala merelle. Mukava ja palvelualtis henkilökunta. Lyhyt kävelymatka rannalle, joskin matkasta suurin osa portaita. Lähimmälle bussipysäkille muutaman sadan metrin matka. Ainoana miinuksena WiFi-yhteyden huono kuuluvuus huoneistoomme.

This apartment is good value for money! Super clean and felt quite safe. However, please note this apartment is on a hill so be prepared to do 10 minutes vertically down to get to the beach. There is a lot of stairs! Also, bus comes once an hour so not great to get to the old town. Overall, would recommend to a friend!

gut ausgestattetes Apartement relativ hoch am Hang, aber die Benutzung des Lifts vom Hotel Kompas macht eden Weg zum Meer einfacher. Herauszuheben ist die Bereitschaft, mich nach Mitternacht (Flug hatte 9 h Verspätung) zu erwarten und die Koffer den Hang hoch zu tragen!!!

Stayed 3 nights. Photo on booking website is view across bay. About 200 stair steps up from Lapad Promenade; many attractive restaurants and sea views. Limited parking; walked/bussed everywhere. Bus stop to walled city 15 minutes walk. Check-in: No apartment signage, just address. Once there, we phoned from street, and waited a while for someone to come; felt uncertain until checked in. Apartment bright & clean, large balcony/patio, great view. Wifi spotty; dropped several times, slow to come back, always came back eventually. This was our first apartment stay; we didn't understand variability of "house rules". When time to shower, were surprised to find empty built-in soap dispenser. Called manager; he explained this is not a hotel, but an apartment; guests are expected to provide their own supplies. But that seemed odd, as towels (one set/person for stay, no changing), iron/board, dishes, silverware, and dish soap were provided. Why not shower soap? (He soon came back with soap bottle.) We also asked for/received a bed top sheet to fit. We have since learned it's common in Balkan countries to have one twin-sized sheet/blanket per person provided, each sized for half the bed, even in double-/queen-/king-sized bed. Experience has now taught us that for apartments, you must realize there is greater variability in amenities and services provided than hotels; also managers may or may not be as available as in hotel. Carefully read descriptions of any place you stay.

Would recommend a stay in the room we were in, that was decorated in a blue seaside theme, it was very clean, with large comfy bed and a kitchenette. The breakfast that was delivered each morning was very good and included fresh bread, meat, cheese, jam, fruit, snack, tea/coffee and milk and these were varied each day. Has a very large patio to sit on, I would have liked a sun lounger, so maybe take an air bed There are a lot of steps to the main Lapad resort, but we were happy with the exercise. Very helpful service, from Zorban, who we met at agency near Dubrovnik old town, who then drove us to the apartment on our arrival. He gave us some restaurant tips, which we used and were very good, restaurant Lapad and Orsan.

Fint værelse. God service fra ejeren, som leverede morgenmaden ved døren til værelset om morgenen. Han kørte mig bla. til busstationen da jeg skulle til lufthavnen. Men det lå meget langt væk fra alting, samt der er mange trapper og stejle bakker i området, så det er ikke for dårligt gående.

Super sød vært! Da vi Ankom var der i gang med at blive bygget et nyt hus, som blokerede udsigten, så i stedet havde han sørget for udendørs jacuzzi, som trøst. Familieejet og meget venlige og imødekommende og super hjælpsomme. Ville bestemt anbefale det til andre.

Nice and clean room, but service was not very friendly. We contacted the place a day before about our arrival time but didn't get any answer. When we went there, there wasn't anybody. We had to call to the owner and finally some lady came there who didn't know english at all, it was very difficult to speak with her. For the same reasons we had some problems later and had to call to the owner again.... Otherwise, everything ok.
