Excelente, hermoso lugar, la atención del personal esperctacular, muy serviciales. El sitio del comedor muy acogedor , las cabañas son bien rusticas pero está acorde con el lugar, acorde con la naturaleza del lugar. Esta muy cerca de la playa, la comida es muy rica. Super recomendado, Wilson y Santiago lo mejor!

A great place to stay but not for anyone who does not like climing as all the cabins are on a hill with an awesome view. To walk to the breakfast which was fabulous one has to climb steps. The restaurant has a beautiful view also.

Only have good things to say about our stay here. Santiago and his staff are extremely accommodating. The cabanas are nice and quiet, and you’re only a 5 minute walk from the beach.

Beautifull location, friendly staff, great food. As this is located at one end of town, it would need a bit of patience to find (literally just follow the signs), but is well worth it.

If you are looking for a tropical paradise on a mid range backpackers budget then this is your place! Located in Ayampe a low key, quite town, you just go down the road towards the beach and take a left. Even though it is all the way at the end of the road/town, it's still an easy walk. With a lot of bags and tired from travel, you can also take a taxi from bus drop off, $1.50. The owner and staff are fantastic and will do what ever they can to make you feel welcome. Breakfast is included and they do have dinners, drinks etc available. Be aware there are a lot of steps but without them you wouldn't have such wonderful views!

El hotel es una maravilla escondido en un bosque de plantas hermosas y frente a la playa. La habitación amplia, muy cómoda, y con vistas al bosque y a la playa. La recepción cuenta con cómodos sillones, es amplia, y muy cálida. El desayuno excelente; la cena también. La atención de los empleados muy buena, especialmente la amabilidad de Manuel.

Muy buena ubicación y servicio. Un perfecto lugar para descansar con una vista fantástica. La playa es limpia y muy tranquila. Perfecta para surf. El desayuno muy bueno y la pizza fantástica.

I came here to eat dinner at the recommendation. It takes a long walk along an unlit dirt road to get there. But beautiful when you arrive! The driveway, vegetation, and building are magnificent. lovely relaxing chairs and couches and a fantastic view of the bay. I ordered ceviche and a main course of fish with a beer. Even though no one else was in the restaurant, it lasted for a long time. The portions were not large, but the taste was excellent. Service was excellent, not terrible. The food cost $26, which is nearly double what I paid for the same meal of the same quality, larger portions at other restaurants in Ayampe, so expensive, but the views and atmosphere were fantastic!.

We stayed at this excellent location with our kids for five days. The bungalows have everything you need and have a fantastic view of the Pacific. With some luck, you may see even jumping humpback whales during the season. The restaurant and community area are very cozy, and the food is excellent. Wilson is always attentive and a very nice guy. There are some surfboards that you can take, our kids enjoy them. Bring insect repellent.

The location is good, but the room was definitely not cleaned. During the pandemic, there was a lack of staff. This area was overvalued. There was an old mattress and no hot water in the bathroom.

Finch Puta is a charming, tiny oasis among the trees less than a 5 minute walk from the shore. Our cabin was close to the small pool with incredible views of the Pacific. The food was excellent, albeit costly by local standards. However, when we arrived, the owner claimed he didn't have our reservation. Then he checked his phone and it was there. Then he said he had no rooms. He then found one for two of the three nights we had booked. We were constantly on edge, and it wasn't quite the calm and peaceful stay we had imagined. Another couple had a problem with their booking while we were there, and judging by the recent post from Destination 747651, this is starting to get trend. Also, two nights, a mouse entered our room and chewed into my hat. So while the location is great, the remainder of our experience didn't add up, but I still give it a three since it is where it is.

Hotel pequeño, rústico, ideal para desconectarse del mundo, en un pueblo tranquilo muy seguro, el único detalle es que la habitación era muy calurosa y los ventiladores no solucionaba el problema, si creo que deberían implementar a/c

This hotel is not for the faint of heart! The place is not easy to find, the trail you drive on makes a small car drag bottom! Once you rattle you and your car there then you have to find the hotel in the trees, up quite a few stairs and you arrive at the office, restaurant and sitting area. A very friendly proprietor awaits you and is very gracious host! The rates are great and I quite enjoyed the cuisine. Back down all the steps,down the road a bit and one of half a dozen cabins await you carved into the hillside above you, a breath taking view awaits you. Nice interiors, mine had quite a sewer smell when showering. My friends really smelled of mold and wasn’t as nice as my room. The mattresses are hard and not to my liking. Overall a neet place to spend a night.

Fina Punta Ayampe is simple hotel very close to the beach, you can see it from your room and it's 5 minutes walk. I would recommend it for families, as it has friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Breakfast and dinner is served in open dining room with fire place and several dogs and cats.

Wonderful place overlooking the beach. It was great to fall asleep each night to the sound of the ocean. We stayed in a cabaña - essentially a cabin. It was rustic, but there was a bathroom with shower and a ceiling fan (plus a hammock on the porch with a great view of the ocean). Sort of a "glamping" experience. The little infinity pool was nice as well. In the main house, the breakfasts were huge, fresh, and tasty. We also ordered dinner one night and it was delicious (also huge). Great, friendly service. ***PLEASE NOTE***: We had to climb A LOT of stairs to get to our place. If you require handicap accessibility, you should probably look elsewhere.
