This was a delightful little country hotel with gorgeous rooms and a good restaurant immediately below. The suite of rooms (4 were included in my booking) were beautifully furnished and great value for money. The beds were comfortable and the setting was peaceful. Would thoroughly recommend!

Clé à récupérer dans un hôtel face à la gare, moins pratique si vous êtes en voiture. Manque plateau café ou un petit réfrigérateur car c’est un grand appartement avec salon.

Although the Cathedral is not much of a hotel, self-catering apartments are practically located close to the city's top attraction. My wife and I had la chappelle, a very modern apartment on the second floor with a window that had a view of the cathedral. Because we had only stayed one night, it was immaculate and exceptionally well-furnished for self-catering. It was unfortunate that we weren't staying longer, according to my wife and I. It would not be an issue in normal road conditions to reserve and collect the key from the main hotel opposite the railway station, although during our visit the station road was dug up and there were diversions on numerous roads leading to it, making it difficult to get there. I await the fine, it's a pain! A bit difficult, but nothing to put one off. Although there is no road parking, a vast underground parking lot is two or three minutes walk away, so parking isn't an issue. The cathedral neighborhood is close by, so finding one that suits you is simple. There is no cost, but parking in the city center is. Even though the cathedral is near the vicinity of the cathedral, we only heard the bells on Sunday night and on Monday morning, we left it because it was very close by. It was nearly tripping in the middle of the night, and my wife missed it at the

The room was quite clean and cozy. The kitchen was tiny. Location is right next door to the cathedral, so it is ideal for a short stay in Chartres. Great for our family of four. We were able to collect the key from the nearby hotel, which was really welcoming. We only stayed one night, but we want to go back one day.

Our room had a nice view of the cathedral, we were able to watch the light show from our room. The challenging part is that the rooms are managed by the Hotel Jehan de Beauce right across the street from the train station. You have to check in there, get your key and walk the kilometer to the rooms. That wasn't in any part of information about the booking. The restaurant staff (shown in the picture) was helpful in getting us in the right direction. Once situated, it was a great stay. The building is old and there are some uneven surfaces in the flat but overall, it was a great place to stay.
