We spent a few nights here while in Mannheim for a sporting event. Simple, clean, and comfortable with a shared bathroom. There are some good restaurants in the area, especially two Haven see our review. Easy to get to the city center from here too. Parking is the biggest challenge, seems to be busy around the area often.

The condition of the hostel is very basic. There is no private toilet, even if you want to pay extra 20 euros. There is no elevator, just steps up to your basic room. Hard foam mattress on the bed, nothing else. Parking is tricky and there is no signage outside, the hotel is not a registered hotel. Eating places are nearby. Excellent for last-minute reasonable accommodations for 59 euros per night.

This is a wonderful location in one of Mannheims most popular neighborhoods The shine is 2 min away and restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and supermarkets are only a 10-minute walk, and the downtown by tram and the train station are both within walking distance. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful, and the rooms have warm and clean wooden floors, WiFi, and phones. Since the be is in an historic building, there is no elevator, and many of the rooms are on it's first floor, however, the owners offer to transport your luggage up to take it up to you if necessary. The majority of rooms also have a fridge space in the shared kitchen, which works well because it is clearly marked, so you can store some food items. If you want to use it, make sure to request a room with a fridge space. As the be collaborates with one of the best bakeries, grimminger, request a breakfast voucher at the front desk, which will get you a continental breakfast for 4 euros. I spent a lot of time working in the room and had no issues. The kitchen is fully furnished with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, water cooker, coffee maker, and other kitchen tools. The be also offers a washdry service for 5 euros. Everything you need is really there. This is a fantastic location for such a low price. There is no room service in the apartment,

When I went to Mannheim, a last-minute discovery. Unless you have big bags, the hotel is accessible on foot from the Huf. The absence of an elevator and its absence are its only drawbacks. You should make a plan in case the rooms are on the fifth or fourth floor. The restroom is shared and the rooms are roomy and spotless. For some reason, they do not allow the use of a shared bathtub. It was well worth the 40 euros spent by the friendly staff.
