Fantasticly maintained beachfront bungalow. Warm, clean, and very comfortable. Excellent service, friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner. A dream destination on this quiet, car and motorcycle free paradise island.

My buddy and I stayed here for a few days while exploring Bali. Arriving on the beach, we saw our bungalow right next to us on the beach. On the boat to the island, I got sea sickness, and the staff were extremely kind and let us check in early and brought me toast. The little huts close to the restaurant area are incredibly cute, and you could sit and drink cocktails while watching the sun set. It was a beautiful, peaceful location and the staff was very helpful and diligent.

We stayed here the day before moving to Gil Air and got buried in the earthquake. Such a fantastic place to stay and the staff were nice and so friendly. We are devastated to learn that the bungalows have been damaged. I hope they can reopen and open the business again. We will help with fundraising to help the staff and people of Look.

My husband and I were cut short by the earthquake, but before that disaster, this was truly one of the best places I have stayed anywhere in the world. We had a lovely, romantic bungalow with great attention to detail, including recycling plastics. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel is located on the best swimming beach on Gil men. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during our pre-earthquake stay and extremely kind and helpful after the earthquake, remaining calm to make sure all guests were accounted for, helping us get current information, and distributing food and water. I know they are one of the longest running hotels on the island and I really wish them the best in rebuilding after such a horrible tragedy. We also wish the best for the staff members, particularly kris, in the aftermath of the earthquake. Love to you allies and all of Gil men!.

The other half and I had the good fortune to visit all three of the tiny slices of paradise we encountered on our journey to the gil islands. Most people we met on our travels primarily just visited gil trawangan and gil air, while many people seemed to skip the quieter gil men. While making the reservation for our vacation, though, gil air was actually what I was looking forward to, primarily because of the dreamy hotel I had discovered online. We planned the whole trip around our 5-year anniversary and we planned it so we would be on the small honeymoon island on our actual anniversary so we wanted to pick a special place to stay. We came across Allens bungalows. With a view of the turquoise ocean from the balcony, much better than that, the stilted cottages were almost on the beach you were literally a couple of steps from the bottom step of your porch to the water, it was magical. The accommodation itself was a cute, traditional bungalow with huge high ceilings and a large washroombathroom, the interior styling was very traditional and not quite as modern as some of the other gil hotels, but this added to the charm. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day, for one reason and one reason alone, the banana pancakes were the fluffiest, sweetest and most delicious banana pancakes Ive ever eaten,
