Excellent apartment and management. Easy to communicate with them. Walkable neighborhood with shops, restaurants and the major sites. If you need to go by taxi, allow extra time for the taxi to get to you, or walk about five minutes to get picked up where there are less people on the streets.

The host, Sakis, is great! He reached out over WhatsApp soon after making my booking to introduce himself and let me know he could help with arranging transportation from the airport as well as provide tips on restaurants and other places. He did end up arranging transportation for us upon arrival and departure to the port. Plus he made restaurant recommendations and reservations for us during our stay. The location of the apartment in Plaka at the base of Acropolis was awesome!

L’emplacement est parfait, avec plusieurs restaurants à proximité. La terrasse avec vue sur l’Acropole est vraiment incroyable et ajoute un petit quelque chose de spécial au séjour! L’hôte répond rapidement aux messages et a organisé nos transferts sans aucun problème, ce qui a rendu l’expérience très simple et agréable. Le seul petit point à mentionner serait la douche, qui est assez petite — disons que c’est presque un combat pour éviter que le rideau nous colle dessus 😅 Mais honnêtement, pour le reste tout était parfait. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation!

This was such a special experience for my sister and I. Sakis took such good care of us from start to finish, like arranging all our transportation during a taxis strike. His place in Plaka was perfect for us with the two bedrooms and an amazing view from both. It was close to everything being in the core of Plaka. The rooftop terrace had an amazing view of the Acropolis and we enjoyed having our wine up there. Thanks again, Sakis for making our stay memorable. Vicky and Marty

Excellent service. The location is perfect, the 2bd apt (Hermes) was spacious and very comfortable. We spent our last evening enjoying a bottle of wine on the rooftop. The neighborhood was just beautifu. We highly recommend!

Acro&Polis is a great place to stay in the heart of Plaka, close to all the major ruins and nearby to other neighborhoods such as Monastiraki and Psyri. It was perfect for our recent short stay in Athens. As a family of three, the Athena room was just right for us, a welcoming, well-appointed room with space for three to sleep, a small kitchenette, and a private entrance just next to the main hotel. From the moment we booked, all the way through our stay, the owner, Sakis, was very helpful and friendly, ensuring we had a smooth arrival and a great stay. He greeted us when we got to the hotel and helped coordinate pickup and drop off service from the airport with one of his contacts, who was also very nice and helpful. His cleaning staff arrives daily and were friendly and efficient and kept the rooms very clean. The property also has a nice rooftop with amazing views of the area, including the Acropolis. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to step out in between sight seeing. And Sakis is happy to help with food and tour recommendations. Overall, Arco&Polis is a well run place with a great owner and staff in a wonderful location. Our stay exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Our stay at Arco and Polis was fantastic. Our host, Sakis, was amazing — he communicated clearly from the start and even arranged our airport transport, which made our arrival completely stress‑free. He also shared great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and local spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. The location couldn’t be better. We were just a short walk from the Acropolis, shops, and plenty of restaurants, making it easy to explore Athens on foot. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Athens.

This boutique hotel has an excellent location very close to the acropolis, restaurants and stores, including one decent grocery store. The room was fairly spacious and comfortable. But what really made the experience was the helpful and genial host, Sakis.

Excellent location in Plaka right in the middle of everything. A very easy walk to anywhere in the city and especially to nice restaurants and shopping within five minutes. The host communicated with us. If we needed anything, he was right there and was very welcoming. We are very happy. We chose to stay here and would definitely stay here again.
