This place is nested in the mountains yet I was surprised how close to Rovina beach, 10 min walk which is equally as beautiful as the beach - one of the best on the island (my personal favourite for snorkelling) - the pool view and people who run both bars are lovely folk

We were greeted with a very warm welcome by the owner Dmitri who came out to the taxi to help us with our bags and show us to our room. He made us feel at home right away, kindly inviting us to the bar for cocktails. The apartment was great, a good size with all the features most people would need including wifi, satellite TV, air conditioning, kitchenette and a balcony (if you request an upper floor room). We only went to breakfast once as we had bought our own food, but the breakfast provided is of a simple continental style with bread, jam, cereal, meats, coffee, orange juice etc. As for the area, Liapades village is very picturesque with great beaches and a handful of local traditional restaurants (we liked Aria grill the best) which is less than a minute walk from Medusa. We also hired a quad bike from Nikos bikes and headed to Paleokastritsa, around 10 minutes drive and also Corfu town which is about 30 minutes away. I would highly recommend visiting these two places. On the last day, as we had a late flight, Dmitri very kindly let us keep the room all day for as long as we needed (only because nobody else was due to check in so we got lucky). However we have never had such a kind gesture before and we would like to thank Dmitri and everyone at Medusa for making our stay unforgettable!

The place is very clean, modern, with a great view over the valley from the balcony. The kitchen is small but has most of the basics, and there are a few supermarket options within walking distance. The only downside is that the apartments are right next to the Medusa Bar, and the sound from neighbouring apartments carries through the walls so you can sometimes hear your neighbours talking when the aircon is off. Unit 1 is the closest to the bar, so try to avoid that one of you are looking for peace and quiet. Unit 4 is the furthest away and has the best view!

Excellent position, beautiful views, we have returned 3 years running and would highly recommend Medusa Apartments. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working in one of our rooms on this occasion so on some nights we slept in the room that we booked for our teenage daughter and her friend which was not ideal and when we did sleep in our room we had very little sleep as it was so hot and uncomfortable.

Świetna okolica - widok z balkonu powala ... blisko plaży, wieczorami szum morza w oddali. Zieleń. Zieleń. Zieleń! Parking dla gości, w okolicy kilka tawern, dwa sklepy. Niestety, TRAGICZNE ŁÓŻKA - po jednej nocy nie byłem w stanie niemal ruszać się przez 2 dni (ból pleców) ... Basen był w stanie nie do użytku (BRUDNY!) ... :( I za to wielki minus, ponieważ moja córeczka była zawiedziona ... Wifi działa. Kuchenka i wyposażenie to atut tego miejsca.

Appartement très agréable , climatisation au top et salle de bains toute neuve . Il a fallu se débrouiller en arrivant pour obtenir nos clés car il n'y avait personne . Nous avions donné l'heure de notre arrivée cependant . Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans l'appartement , nous l'avons utilisé comme une chambre et n'y avons pas fait la cuisine , avec les excellentes tavernes du village , où nous avons dîné chaque soir. Les rangements sont nombreux et bien conçus et c'est neuf. Le ménage est fait tous les 3 jours et le linge changé , le petit déjeuner servi au bar est tout à fait suffisant et la dame adorable.

The room was very damp the first day and there were no other rooms to move to. I had a headache fir the first day. The bottom rooms don't have windows and the only ventilation is the door. Otherwise the place is comfortable and has easy access to nice beaches in the Liapades area. I would suggest asking for a room on the top floor

Keine Ansprechpartner bei Ankunft. Lautstärke in der Bar extrem hoch und das bis 5 Uhr. Reklamationen werden gar nicht oder nur mangelhaft bearbeitet. Zimmer sind sehr schön und groß. In 2 Wochen 4mal Bettwäsche gewechselt. Sehr sauber gereinigt. Ausstattung der Küche zeile etwas dürftig.

Ankunft mit dem Taxi gegen Mitternacht (inkl. Frau und Kind) - bin in die Bar und fragte den DJ nach dem Eigentümer - zur Überraschung war er das. Bereits gut angeheitert führte uns der Gute zum Zimmer - leider dem falschen - was die Dame in dem Zimmer auch nicht besonders witzig fand - ihm gefiel Sie offenbar. Dank der späten Uhrzeit schlief der Kleine (3 J) bald ein - wir leider erst um 5 Uhr nach der Sperrstunde der Bar. Ich bezeichne mich immer als unempfindlich was das Schlafen betrifft - aber hier war auch für mich nicht ans Schlafen zu denken. Wir haben uns bereits am nächsten Tag um ein Ausweichquartier bemüht was auch funktioniert hat. Eine Nacht mussten wir noch in der Unterkunft verbringen - wie bereits am ersten Tag war auch hier nicht ans einschlafen zu denken. Jeden Tag startet die Bar um 20 Uhr, bis Mitternacht ist es noch chillig, ab dann geht's los bis 5 Uhr. Unser Zimmer war das zweit nächste zur Bar. Vielleicht ist es im letzten Zimmer oder in denen im EG besser - ich glaub es aber nicht. Die Gespräche mit anderen Gästen bestätigten das. Für Junge Paare oder Singles mag das OK sein - die Frage ist nur was die in Liapades suchen? Für Ruhe Suchende oder Familien sicherlich nicht. Leider steht in der Homepage auch kein Sterbenswörtchen davon. Den Besitzer haben wir niemals mehr zu Gesicht bekommen - außer natürlich ab 20 Uhr an der Bar. Auch ansonsten hat keinen interessiert das wir da sind. Gastfreundschaft pur eben.
