This hotel is near the beach and you can go on short walks, and the place is clean and comfortable. The place is good for everyone who enjoys nature. And then, the atmosphere is also comfortable.

The best windsurfing conditions on the island are found just a short drive or a lovely walk away, and the beach is only a short drive or scenic walk away. Palekastro, on foot, is also just a 5-minute drive away for necessities. The only four adjacent apartments set in the middle of an olive plantation offered enough privacy to be content to occasionally see neighbors. Somehow, a holiday has a surprising element. The only room is big enough to be peaceful and comfortable. We spent about ten days ending the high season from august to September 2014 with a mate. There's plenty of peace in the entire place, which will finally reach your bones. As the hostess, who runs the place as a mode of life, is to blame for this.

In August 2017, we stayed at the sunrise apartments to go windsurfing, hiking, snorkeling, and unwind. The beach and picturesque town of Palekastro are nearby. Our apartment was lovely and spacious, with a comfortable bed, air, and WiFi, and a lovely outlook of the region and the ocean. Sunrise is in an olive plantation, and we had a fig tree right in front of our balcony. I apologized for eating all the figs from it, but it tasted great. We sat in the garden, in the shadow of the olive trees, when the sun got too hot. The owner, George, is a kind and restful host. He is seldom seen, but one time he came by and offered us Wiener beer that he had made himself in the winter, and it tasted great! He speaks excellent English so that we can discuss the life of create and the life of Holland. Also, he allowed us to sample his olive oil, and guess what.. It was a wonderful moment. With good conversations, good products, and all the nice things to do in and around Palästastro, we got a glimpse of the good life in Greece.

Sunrise Apartments is located on a countryside, about 15 minutes walk from the beach and village of Palekastro. Its ideal if you're looking for a quiet place with a cottage feel and can cope with mosquitoes, geckos, ants, and other things you can naturally encounter in the middle of an olive tree plantation. Our host loves hard rock and metal music as does our family. So we enjoyed the same music and had a very nice vacation in sunrise apartments. Thank you.

The owner, George, is very kind and will provide you with a bottle of his own produce olive oil to prepare. The place is very clean and the pictures on tripAdvisor match the real thing! We had a great stay and highly recommend the sunrise apartments. You will absolutely need a car to see the island.
