The staff here is incredibly kind and patient. Thanks to their warm hospitality and an adorable, friendly cat, I was able to wrap up my final night in Iceland perfectly. Unlike other accommodations in Iceland, the room was very spacious and equipped with everything from a ventilation fan and two TVs to various seasonings, making me feel like I was staying in a real European home. I had such a relaxing time, just like being at my own house—watching TV and playing with the cat.

This place was amazing! I would stay again for sure. The staff are very thoughtful and kind. I loved the kitchen. I didn't have to buy salt, pepper, and oil. Basic kitchen items are all there, and ready to cook.

Fantastic apartments, all fully equipped, spacious bathroom and with heated floors. Grand to have own parking space just outside the private terrace. Closeness to the ocean is marvellous and the ocean barrier perfect for promenades watching the tide. Our long term stay was wonderful and made even better by the service minded and friendly personel. Thank you and rest assured we will return when in Iceland next time.

Spacious comfort apartment in a quiet and peaceful location. Only a short drive (10-15 minutes) to Selfoss for supermarkets, restaurants, petrol station etc. The apartment made for a comfortable base to explore much of southern Iceland. Johan was incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We absolutely LOVED this family-owned and run hotel! Our studio apartment was clean, comfortable, and "well-appointed." We only had trouble with the coffee maker, but that was likely "user error" ... LOL! The owner, Johan, is a PERFECT GENTLEMAN! HOWEVER, he though we would NOT see the Aurora, but, we MOST CERTAINLY DID!!!

Wow!! Such an amazing place to stay. It was only about 10/15 minutes drive outside of Selfoss. The area is very quiet and cute and the hotel is right up against the beach. The room itself was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. We slept great because it was so quiet and dark. We were able to see the Northern Lights right outside our room! It was easy to speak to someone in the reception desk and we were overall very impressed. 10/10 would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Outstanding apartment! Simple and elegant, fully equiped, large bathroom, nice diming table and just right next to the beach! The staff (Johann) was really welcoming and explained a lot about the history of the village, which is a pearl: quiet, nice typical architecture, smiling inhabitants: the kind of place you leave altrady plannibgctovrwturn! Fantastic stay! The location was perfect -- near a beach/bay, in a sweet village, close to a picturesque town with a grocery store and food (but far enough away for northern lights viewing), near a few horse stables, near the Golden Circle, and great for a day-trip to Vik! The bed was super comfy, and the owners were SO NICE! Great value. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! :)
