Excellent location and quiet place although in the middle of everything happening. Definitely consider using the kitchen, Iceland is VERY expensive! Reykjavik is a small city and you can walk to most places. Spacious abd comfortable bathroom.

This was such a a good location to see the sites in the city center. Bus stop number 6 is close by for drop off and pick up. Small grocery store was very close. Souvenir shops galore near by. We walked Rainbow street to the church, we walked to Harpa, the Parliament Building, City Hall. We were very pleased with the location. The apartment itself was clean and very comfortable, even the sofa bed. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was there. The communication with Ice Apartments was excellent. They even allowed us to leave our luggage at the base of the stairs after we checked out, until we were ready to leave. They also communicated during our stay to make sure everything was okay. It was an excellent stay!! I highly recommend the apartment! PS: The stairway, though steep, had a sturdy railing so the person in our group who had some issues with stairs felt safe.

It was easy to communicate with host via email and phone. The apartment is in a great location. We arrived early AM and was able to store bags at What’s On tourist information center just a few steps away. We would stay here again.

My parents and I stayed here for 5 days. We brought food with us, since meals and food are terribly expensive in Iceland. The kitchens facilities were great for what we needed. And host was extremely timely and responsive whenever I had a question. The door code for entry was very frustrating in the beginning, but then I called the host and we sorted it out. It was fine after that. The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the city and very walkable to everything. Bus stop #6 is super close, for when you are taking buses for tours or airport drop off/pick up. Bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Price point was great, especially for what you get and the location.

The property was excellent and as described and an excellent value. I was very impressed with all of the amenities provided and the ease of getting around the key part of Reykjavik. Checking in was a breeze and easy to get immediate access to the location. There was a little confusion on my part of locating the building since it is located in the middle of the block, all worked out great. I would definitely recommend this property if visiting Reykjavik and you enjoy the non-hotel experience.

Ice apartments are a lovely place to stay while in 101 Reykjavik. Perfect location right at rainbow street, modern clean apartments and great communication with owners. They let me check in early as a courtesy and that was very nice of them as they didn’t have to do that for us. I would absolutely recommend them and would stay back there again when I come back to Reykjavik.
