The apartment was perfect for a family of 4. The host texted the building and room codes in advance, and it was easy to find The Swan with signage on the building. While the lobby and hallways seemed very industrial, once inside the apartment, it was lovely, clean and bright. There is a grocery store within walking distance, which was great for us. There was a lively shopping and dining area also within a short walk. The 10a check out is a bit early for travelers with late-day/evening flights, but we used luggage storage at BSI Bus Terminal, where we took the FlyBus to KEV airport.

The Swan House is in a good area for accessing everything in Reykjavik. The apartment and neighborhood were quiet and the host was so helpful with prompt responses to emails. Lots of pubs and good places to eat within a few blocks. Convenience stores were also fairly close.

Nice size place in decent location. Construction currently on the street so it’s not ideal for quiet mornings. Otherwise nice place to stay

When we first got to the property, we weren’t too sure It’s very old, but it was clean. It appears to be in the old area of Iceland, where there’s a few hostiles. But at the end, we stayed in apartment, 102 which had a kitchenette, which was great because the price of food in Iceland is crazy expensive. It’s a self serve stay. Which we didn’t mind. It was walkable everywhere we needed to go. Love Iceland.

This property is in an excellent location. The only negative is the lack of free parking and the fees that occurs.

Great location. Close to main shopping areas. Only a 5 minute walk from bus stop 14. Room was large. Able to store suitcases for the day.

Love the location, swan house very clean. Would be nice to have a closet or drawer to put cloths in. Window in room 109 could not be locked. Also need better instructions on operating the hub. All in all lovely place and have only good things to say.

Clean, comfortable room. Check in and out was convenient. Good area in the city for walkable exploring! Parking was not always close by, depending on the time of day.

Hotel room was solid, could use some blackout curtains but overall good. Plenty of space and easy to access, plus a great location in the city

We stayed 2 nights at Swan House. It was super convenient - it was right in the middle of town, and we could walk to most things, and just a couple minutes walk to the bus stop for things farther away. The apartment was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. They had a luggage storage room, which was very convenient since we arrived too early to check in. We dropped off the luggage and took a taxi to Sky Lagoon and had a wonderful few hours before time to check in. We had an issue with access - the code we were given to access the outside door and luggage room did not work. I messaged them, and they sent a text back within minutes with a different code so we could access the luggage room before check in. Absolutely lovely place!

Great property. Short walk to downtown Reykjavík. The property is extremely communicative about everything. Very spacious apartment. The only drawback is that there is no storage if you are planning a longer stay. Other than that, this place is great.

The customer service is outstanding and Our room was well equipped and very comfortable! We were traveling with an infant so had some special circumstances and I don’t think I ever waited more than 5 minutes for an email response!
