I suggest reading other well-kept reviews. Just last February 2022, I went. My wife and daughter in our car. We stayed for 2 nights and paid 10400. However, they helped me by giving me a discount. Good 1. 56 am outside of the main road, in the hamlet. Not far from the heart of the city. The route to the resort is between dense woodland and its condition is not good. However, the view is very beautiful. I once spotted a deer. The camp is up on it's ground. 1. Hut with a view. My hut's name was China. Ask for another river-facing hut. Nature is in dense forest. You constantly feel inside of the forest. The water stream gives a nice vibe. The hut was excellent. They are up in mud huts. The restrooms are spotless. They gave me a room heater and a hot water bottle for the night since it was extremely chilly. Good gesture! I've always stayed in 5 stars, so there weren't many issues. They served me at 4 a. M. I liked the gesture. The staff is nice. The homey casual twill is provided. There aren't many options. The mattress was fine, but its cover was not well washed. I removed the cover to use. It's not great

This place is very recommended if you love nature. It was very relaxing. The employees are very good, they deserve all our appreciation. The food is delicious too. This is the best place to stay if you want to find peace.

The camp is outstanding in my opinion. Being humble Shekhar. I call this camp a top-notch resort. The ambiance at this camp is wonderful. Around nine mud cabins are in existence, each one has a cozy sittingsleep area next to the window, apart from the main bed. The mud cabins are enormous. Apart from the main bed, most cabins all have a sittingsleep area next to the window. With 2 adults and 2 kids, each cabin offers a separate bed. The camp is so designed that there is only hardly a 2030 m radius from each cabin, and visitors can quickly enter this area. There is a small library, and you can read there. During breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this location is a dining area. There is no room service, but the camp encourages visitors to come to the common area and assist themselves with food, etc. Although there is an electric kettle and tea or coffee bags given in the room, we preferred our lovely old-style tea, which is kept at great a fine early in the morning for all visitors. Evening snacks are also given. The camp's family is run by a humble administration who is a village itself and all the staff is from the kari community. Although the property is surrounded by a lush forest from Jim Correct National Park, there is nothing outstanding about it. Avoid this because jim Correct National Park has many superior alternatives. We visited this location in October 2021, a few days ago there was a lot of rainfall in Uttarakhand, and the biryani zone of the forest was closed. But the hotel owner or the staff did not bother to tell us before our arrival and when we arrived there, they stated that safari was not possible. We told them to book in any other zone tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, but they refused and said nothing is possible. However, when we contacted an agent, he said there was one permit available for the La Zone, and we advised the staff to book it for us, but they couldn't because of their inefficiency and laziness. We were stuck in this place, and we couldn't reserve another safari on any other day, and the hotel owner stated that we do not promote safari. But they didn't notify us earlier that they don't promote safari, or, if we hadn't chosen another option, we could have chosen other choices. The room isn't adequate for the cost. Ants covered the extra bed, which means that three adults had to sleep on the tiny double bed. This is entirely unacceptable. The food was ok. It was cozy. The surrounding area was great.

I came to Camp Hornbill Karai in 2021. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I was looking for a place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and do some birding. My friend sent me to the owner's house in Upadhyay. Since that visit, I have never looked for another location. I've been fed with properties in the correct area which are being disturbed by loud music and such. This is the best place for travelers looking to connect with nature on their own. They have mud houses that are socially distancing themselves, which is ideal for busy times, and a fully-vaccinated staff. We have highly advised this place.
