The property isn't on a lake or a canal. Since the main reason is to explore the inland, on my next visit, I would choose one of the numerous spots along the water. Except one, the rooms are small. The restrooms are tiny. One bathroom lacks a separate shower and bath. One bathroom has no separate shower and bathtub. Shower, sink, toilet and basin all in a single closet-sized space. The common dining room is also tiny. Extremely cautious about towels and basic toiletries. By toiletries, I mean anything upscale, hotel-sized soap bars. The rooms are clean, but everywhere seems aging. Wifi was spotty, you must like them on Facebook to obtain a wifi password. The menu is quite small and the quality is at best average. Moreover, there is no alcohol consumption allowed. As shown in the photos, the garden is lovely. However, when visiting the garden, be sure you have plenty of mosquito repellent on hand. I'm not comparing the property here, but the backwaters are a natural breeding ground for mosquitoes. The proprietors who reside on the property and the administration were unresponsive, and their indifference and rudeness specifically stood out because everyone we encountered in herald were extremely warm, welcoming, and nice people.
