We stayed at the Lalit for two nights. We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel is tucked away from the bustling city on a hill overlooking Fathesagar, but still close enough to the action. It’s a well maintained well manicured property that was very clean. The staff was also great. The price point on this hotel was also great. While not as luxurious as the Oberi or Lake Place it was a still a luxurious hotel at a great price point.

Such a tranquil setting in country that can be chaotic at times. The views and sunsets were to die for, such a wonderful way to finish our 3 week stay in India. Rooms and staff were excellent and well worth paying a bit extra for. Nice touches like bagpipes and band playing in the afternoon (who would of thought). Highly recommend. A nice stay; warmth in service every where; good breakfast; great view of the lake from hotel front (only few rooms have that view from room itself). Heritage look. But, huge traffic jams reaching the location on weekend - seems like this city's nature. Also, no bath tub, only shower room.

The hotel property is situated on a hilltop and boasts of spectacular views of Fateh Sagar lake with massive front lawns. We had reached quite earlier than the check-in time, but the front desk staff was very considerate to accommodate us. The rooms are quite large and you’ll be greeted with a very pleasant fragrance the moment you enter the room. The room, however, did not have an iron or ironing board. The bathroom is fine, though a tad dimly lit. Also, the hotel had ramp alongside stairs in approach to rooms, which is very helpful for elderly guests. We had meals in both Aangan and Padmini restaurants and found the food to be very delectable, especially Rajasthani Thaali (for which you need to intimate them some time in advance). The hotel also organises activities such as bagpipes performance, puppet show and traditional folk dance every evening, which was a nice experience. The staff was very polite, warm and attentive. Special words of appreciation to Mohit, Anita and Mimo (at front desk), and Gobind (Restaurant Manager at Aangan) for their wonderful hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
