I heartily endorse this place! Fantastic guest house right next to the river. The rooms are clean and roomy, and the price is reasonable. Additionally, the cuisine is excellent. A very kind and considerate family who not only organizes a fantastic jungle trek but also shows you around bukit lawang and assists with transportation.

Our host at ida guesthouse was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was brand new. All basic but very comfortable. Good breakfast and a good selection of indonesian and western dishes in the restaurant. Great views of the river and jungle too.

We chose ida guesthouse because of its convenient location near the river, which is still accessible by car. We stayed in the family room,which was very spacious, had comfortable beds, and a large bathroom only cold water. The restaurant overlooking the rivers is also good. Fortunately for us because we never made it elsewhere due to the rain storms. Owners can be teasing with tours and transfers, but of course it is incredibly important to how they make their living. I did the oneday jungle tour and was really pleased with our young guides who were very good with my kids. They dont come and change towels, so thats fine, however, it would have been better if they came and cleaned the trash in bathrooms daily.

Pemiliknya sangat galak dan suka marah-marah, padahal salahnya mereka tetap membuka reservasi online ketika sampai di lokasi kamarnya penuh dan tidak meminta maaf atas kejadian tersebut, sangat tidak direkomendasikan untuk menginap di sini. Masih banyak penginapan lain dengan pemandangan yang lebih bagus dan owner serta staf layanan yang lebih ramah. Semoga membantu orang lain agar tidak salah pilih dan menginap di sini.

This place offers excellent value for the money. The rooms are recently refurbished and exceptionally comfortable, the fan kept me cool at night, and the wifi connection was reliable. I had a delicious breakfast prepared in the restaurant downstairs the following morning. It was much cheaper to hire id rather take fewer taxis than private taxi rentals, so ive been able to depart right after my trek thanks to the owners assistance in setting up u shared taxi for myself and two others.

Ini adalah tempat penginapan favorit kita guys, ketika kita berada di hutan bukit Lawang Sumatra Utara, kita pasti selalu beristirahat dan menginap di Ida guest house ini sob. Penginapannya nyaman, bersih dan jauh dari keramaian. Pokoknya nikmat banget, ditambah lagi pelayanannya yang cukup baik dan profesional.

I hoped you could treat everyone better and more well, because everyone deserves it. They appear to only be nice if you book everything with them, so that shows me they only care about money. I reserved the trekking with another guide who a friend recommended me and just wanted to spend the final night after the trek due to the positive reviews. However, since i wanted relax after these days, ive decided to first check out the room and see the views from there. Well, as ill already done the hiking and simply wanted some time to see my room, which is completely normal, they immediately informed me that he could cancel the reservation and move on. You are either nice or not. And it is obvious to me how they are not and that theyre only happy with you when you spend all of your money with him. The trekking is the same for everyone, and all the guides are excellent and pleasant.

We only spent one night here, and we honestly regret not staying any more. The room feels really cozy and clean, with the river bank just a few meters away where we can spend the day swimming. Ida guesthouse also has idha guest houses cafe right in front of our bedroom, so having supper is not an issue. Also, the price is reasonable. There are many activities to do around because this location is very central. We had trough out the area and loved it. Muhdi, who is the owner, helped us book ubud jungle walk to see the orangutan. Wandi turned out to be incredibly friendly and made us feel happy and safe to go on the hike even with kids 10 months, 4 and 9 years old. She makes wholesome breakfast for us and is also mr. Muhammadis wife, na, is likewise renowned for her cooking skills. All the best to ive done at iva guest house, we hope to return someday.
